Biography: Dr. Penrose is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has been affiliated with the Medical Center of Aurora since 2000. In 2003 she founded Generations OB/GYN in Aurora, CO. Originally from California she moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, Vermont to attend the University of Vermont College of Medicine and then Michigan for her residency. Dr. Penrose served as Administrative Chief Resident during her last year of training. Since returning to Colorado in 2000 she has provided guidance and medical expertise in a quaint and attentive office setting. A Generalist by training qualifying her in every aspect of women's health, obstetrics or gynecology, through every decade of your life. She is the only single site robotic surgeon in the metro Denver area; a virtually scar-less surgery. Biography: Dr. Sarah Takimoto is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from Creighton University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2018. Dr. Takimoto's interests in OB/GYN include maternal safety and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, and teaching residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and discovering new restaurants. She is married with a young son and is bilingual in Spanish.
