He treats patients ages 18 and older for a wide variety of gastrointestinal and digestive disorders including the diagnosis and evaluation of abdomen pain and change in bowel habits. Biography: Dr. Farhaad C. Golkar, MD, FACS is a board-certified Surgeon at HCA Florida Citrus Surgical Specialists. Dr. Golkar received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2000 and obtained his medical degree from the University of South Florida in 2005. Later on, in 2005, Dr. Golkar began his residency in General Surgery and completed his Advanced GI Surgery/Hepato-pancreato-biliary Fellowship in 2011 at the University of South Florida.Dr. Golkar demonstrates exemplary skills and knowledge with years of service, while also providing high-quality care. Dr. Hiba completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Wayne State in Detroit, Michigan, followed by a Residency in Internal Medicine at Detroit Medical Center in Michigan, and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas.
