Biography: Dr. Mino is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon specializing in diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus in addition to his general surgery interests. Dr. Mino obtained his Bachelors degrees at Wheaton College with majors in Biology, Economics, and Theology. He attended medical school at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he received the concomitant degrees of Medical Doctor and a Masters of Public Health. He did his general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic of Ohio and stayed on for his fellowship in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. Dr. Mino is double board certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and is a member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in both fields and presented at numerous national conferences. Dr. Mino's particular areas of interest include laparoscopic and robotic treatment for colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pelvic floor dysfunctions including rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, and rectoceles. He also treats anorectal pathology including fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, perianal abscesses, and condylomas.

Care Philosophy: Dr Vogelbaum is an internationally known leader in neurosurgical oncology and a distinguished investigator in laboratory research, translational and clinical trials in gliomas. Dr Vogelbaum is currently Chief of Neurosurgery and Program Leader of the Department of Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He has served on or led numerous scientific committees and holds an array of honors and awards, as well as leadership positions at the regional, national, and international levels. He is the principal investigator and co-investigator of a broad range of early-phase investigator-initiated therapeutic trials, both national and international multisite collaborative studies. He has published over 190 peer-reviewed and invited articles.

Biography: Lourdes T Santiago, M.D. received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army.

Biography: Nyingi Kemmer, M.D., M.P.H., M.Sc., has been a member of the TGMG liver transplant team since July 2011. Prior to her joining the group, she was an associate professor of medicine at the University of Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Kemmer completed her medical degree at the University of Sokoto in Sokoto, Nigeria and a residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Kemmer went on to complete her gastroenterology training at the University of Texas Medical Group, Galveston, TX, and transplant hepatology fellowship training at the Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, CA. She is actively involved in clinical research and completed her M.P.H. with a focus on outcomes research and M.Sc. in drug development and pharmacogenomics. Her research interest is in the area of health-related quality of life, clinical outcomes and disparities in liver transplantation. Her research pertaining to transplant immunosuppression, clinical outcomes and disparities in liver transplantation has been published in numerous journals including Liver Transplantation, Transplantation Journal, Transplant Proceedings, Liver International and Hepatology. She is a member of many professional medical societies and has been a reviewer of abstracts (disparities and outcomes in transplantation) for the American Society of Transplantation annual ATC meetings.
