Care Philosophy: When Dr. Cohen is not seeing patients at Northern California Orthopedic Specialists, developing new medical devices, or on the sidelines at a football game, he enjoys spending his free time with his kids, playing golf, hiking, and sea kayaking. He also enjoys geocaching and photography.

Care Philosophy: I believe patient-centered care should be theapproach taken, and the patient-physician relationship is sacred. One of the roles of the physician is not just to provide care but to be an advocate and a voice for those who have often been overlooked and under-treated by our mainstream society. It has been one of my goals in practice to make my patients aware that their care matters, and despite the unfortunate realities of healthcare disparity, I will advocate for them when required.
