Biography: Vasilios Mathews, M.D., specializes in joint replacement surgery, including the performance of surgery via minimally-invasive joint replacement techniques. In addition, Dr. Mathews has extensive experience with bone-sparing procedures, including partial knee replacement and hip resurfacing, as well as with the newest innovative techniques, including anterior hip replacements and the use of low-wear joint replacements. Biography: T. Bradley Edwards, M.D., specializes in disorders of the shoulder and orthopedic surgery.Dr. Edwards attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. After three years of undergraduate education, Dr. Edwards pursued a Medical Doctorate from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He remained at LSU-New Orleans for his Orthopedic Residency, where he excelled in clinical and basic science research.Dr. Edwards completed a one year Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine Fellowship in Lyon, France with Dr. Gilles Walch, while serving as the Clinical Orthopedic Society Traveling Fellow. He was in practice for two years at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he served as the Chief Shoulder Surgeon and Director of Research before moving to Houston.Dr. Edwards specializes in disorders of the shoulder including those treated with open and arthroscopic surgery. He is very active in clinical and scientific research. Care Philosophy: A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Pacquette received his medical degree at the University of the West Indies in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Port of Spain General Hospital, Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Pacquette has worked in private practice and has acted as a preceptor at Michigan State University Medical School in Midland, Michigan. Dr. Pacquette is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
