Dr. Elizabeth Yang, MD

While I appreciated the doctor's care (she does talk over you at times), I had a concerning experience with some staff members. During a routine blood work appointment, a nurse's improper handling of my samples led to inaccurate results. The nurse, during the blood draw, improperly transferred blood from one vial to another, compromising the integrity of the samples. I had to return for a second blood draw, costing me nearly $100 due to her mistake.When I addressed the issue, the nurse denied any wrongdoing, and another staff member was dismissive when I explained the additional cost. Despite my efforts to find a resolution, there was no willingness to acknowledge the mistake or discuss a fair solution. I won't be returning to this office based on this experience.

Dr Yang has been our family physician since early 90's, we are very fortunate to have her taking care of us all these years. We can not thank her enough. She is methodical, listen carefully, and always responsive.. I am a picky patient, uses specialists mostly in medical center. Now we are moving to CA, we surely will miss her.

I have been with Dr E Yang for over 20 years. She is so professional, competent and supportive: every visit she refers to her notes from previous visits/medical history, explains the test results if applicable and asks relevant medical questions. I always feel at ease and confident with Dr Yang's professional knowledge and skills and highly recommend her to all my family and friends.

My family has been with Dr Yang for 24 years. In the meantime, she moved twice, we moved three times. We now live in mid-town. But we still drive towards West Houston to see her. That tells it all.

In my third decade as a patient, the doctor and her loyal long time assistant Elizabeth are highly competent, I rarely wait beyond my appointment time, they quickly follow up with lab results, constantly look for trouble areas, are responsive to inquiries, quickly resolve issues created by pharmacy glitches and more, you get the picture

I've seen Dr Yang for 3 years. She is very good listener and easy to talk to. She takes time to listen to your concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yang for over 15 years and highly recommend her. She has an excellent staff as well. Her physician assistant, Elizabeth is great too and has been there a long time which speaks volumes. They are an excellent physicians office. I cannot say anything bad and only give them off the charts stars!

I've been under Dr. Yang's care for many years now and I highly recommend her practice. Scheduling an appointment is always quick and convenient and I never wait more than a few minutes in the office. She keeps meticulous track of all my medicines and always takes time to explain why she chose that particular option instead of its alternatives, what side effects I can expect, and why she is changing one when it is time to change. The attention to detail gives me confidence that she is selecting the best treatment for me, not just prescribing the newest thing on the market.

I’ve been seeing dr Yang for over 20 years. The office is very well run. Rarely do I ever wait on my appointment. Test, referral, refill, appointment are seamless. Blood drawn or shot is as painless as it gets. She remembers me even if it’s a year between visit. She works with my specialist to exchange my medical records without me asking. She never rushed. She gives great advice that is consistent with my research. I’ll won’t move out of Houston as long as she continues to be my dr.

Dr. Yang has been my primary care physician for a number of years, and I continue to be extremely happy with her care. She keeps outstanding records and refers to them carefully each time we visit--which gives me confidence that she will always make well-informed and reasonable recommendations based on my overall health. I would never hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

Dr. Elizabeth Yang has been my family doctor for over 20 years. She treated my 2 daughters in their early years also. She is a very friendly person, knowledgeable, compassionate and extremely thorough. Explains what she intends to do.

I have been using Dr. Yang for more than 25 years. She has seen me through a number of health issues and has always been thorough and compassionate. My daughter has also used her. I have a great deal of confidence in her judgment and would have no hesitation about recommending her to others.

I was yelled at by Dr. Yang's husband (who is also an employee at the office), treated with disregard, told to go away, and told that the matter I contacted the office for was not important. Mr. Yang also gave me copies of another patient's full medical records due to his negligence in verifying my identity because he was preoccupied with speaking to me in a demeaning tone. This office is extremely rude and unprofessional. Dr. Yang herself ultimately condoned her husband's behavior.

I have been seeing Dr Yang for nearly 20 years. Very thorough and thoughtful. I much appreciate her on line portal for patients. Allows me to better understand all my medical records and to more easily communicate with Ms Yang between visits. Easy to schedule appointments as well. Thanks for the great care I also need to mention her physician's assistant Elizabeth whom has been with her for a number of years as well. There is simply no one better at drawing blood or giving vaccinations.

Dr Yang has been my Dr for 4 yrs. she is also pcp for my daughters. She is thorough, kind and always up to date. We appreciate the family practice she offers, paperwork is always handled efficiently and we never have difficulty making convenient appointments or quick appointments for my school age children. Recommended!

I have been going to Dr. Yang for over 10 years. She is very good at what she does and she really cares for her patients. If she feels that you need additional tests, she will not hesitate to order these and recommend you to a specialist if needed. Sometimes she tends to speak very fast but I don't have a problem with that. That may be an issue with some patients. Her nurse, also named Elizabeth, is wonderful at giving shots and drawing blood (no bruising like some of my other experiences).

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Yang for over 15 years. We are extremely satisfied with how we are treated. I have confidence in her decisions, and her referrals. From my experience, she care about her patients and encourages me to do things that will improve my overall health. I also, respect and appreciate her office staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yang for over 15 years. She is very attentive and listens to one's concerns. Dr. Yang is very well informed and stays on top of current medical changes and provides guidence. She does not hesitate to suggest a Specialist when she thinks one is necessary.

Dr Yang has been our family doctor for over 20 years. That in itself should tell you that she is an excellent doctor. You can find a lot of doctors in Houston, but none as good as Dr Yang. She has given very effective care to me and my wife and 2 kids ( who are both grown now). If you are looking for a caring and efficient family doctor, you have found her when you go to Dr Yang.

She takes the time to make sure I am getting the best treatment and all my issues are addressed. I also appreciate that when she has given me referrals, she recommends doctors that she has worked with and knows they will also provide a high level of care. She is very professional and helpful.
