Biography: Dr. Merchant is a physician in practice since 1978. He completed his medical education in Pune, India. Dr. Merchant completed a surgical residency at Sassoon Hospital in Pune, India and subsequently practiced as a surgeon at Aga Khan Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Once arriving to New York City he entered the pediatric residency program at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn where he held the position of Chief Resident. Upon completion of his training Dr. Merchant relocated to Florida and began practicing in pediatrics. Dr. Merchant is the founder of Merchant Pediatrics and opened the first location in Kissimmee, Florida in 1998.

Biography: Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, M.D. is board certified in Asthma, Allergy, Immunology and Pediatrics. He has special training in allergic and immunological disorders of adults and children and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, a conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
