Care Philosophy: The focus of my work is taking care of patients with injuries to the upper and lower extremities.

Care Philosophy: With a strong belief that exercise is medicine, Dr. Parker believes that physical activity is a vital part of each patient's overall health and wellness. He strives to help his patients achieve their health goals, no matter what their limitations may be. As a public health professional, Dr. Parker enjoys supporting community events, such as running races, biking and high school sports. He recently conducted a prospective study on injury risk in female marathoners, the results of which were published in the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, as well as road biking, kite boarding and running.

Care Philosophy: I am sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex arthroscopic repair and reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joints' ligaments, tendons, labrum, menisci and cartilage. Beyond my focus on arthroscopic surgery, I also have extensive experience in complex fracture surgery of both the upper and lower extremities. I believe in educating patients about their injury and discussing the available treatment options to help individualize each patient's care and treatment to their specific needs and expectations. A clear focus on the patient's ultimate goal helps me guide their care in the best fashion possible. Outside of the medical world I am an avid cyclist, having ridden up and over some of the highest mountain peaks and passes in Europe, travelling the world exploring new sights and cuisines. In my free time I am an experienced cook and am currently focused on expanding my use of a sous vide cooker and baking bread.
