Dr. Neil Pathare, MD

Dr. Pathare was clear from the outset that my shoulder replacement may result in some lack of ability in range of motion. He explained that he would try to repair the fracture, but there was a strong chance that we were looking at a full replacement. The recovery has been slow but steady, but Doc was encouraging at each follow-up visit. I have full ability in my right shoulder, seven months later. The results so far are just fantastic! And I do think I saw him beaming with pride at our success at my last visit. His work means a lot to him.

When I first met Dr. Pathare, I knew he was the right surgeon for me. I told him my goal was to get back to playing tennis. We talked about our mutual love of the game; and I could tell he sincerely wanted to help me achieve my goal. My surgery went extremely well with only a short delay in the start time. Dr. Pathare wanted a specific suture kit that was located off-site. I appreciated that he wasn’t willing to compromise my procedure by not having the tools he preferred. Dr. Pathare was able to repair my meniscus rather than perform a partial meniscectomy. The recovery was a full six-months, but worth every minute. Dr. Pathare remained positive at each follow-up appointment and reminded me that my recovery would take time. He also provided me with ongoing physical therapy throughout my recovery. I’d be remiss not to give a big shout-out to Tyler Berg at NorthBay Rehab in Vacaville. I couldn’t have asked for a better team, as I’m now playing pain-free tennis. Thanks, Dr. Pathare!

i was hesitant to do surgery since i heard horror stories with it, but after my surgery im a firm believer of it now. he did a very good job on my shoulder, all thanks to dr pathare and his crew. i would recommend him to all who have doubts about doing surgery.

Received appointment with Dr Neal concerning my torn shoulder muscle and tendons he refused me a surgical appointment because I left a bad review about his partner Dr Brooks I then transferred to Kaiser coverage the beginning of this year 2023 and my orthopedic surgeon at Kaiser was amazed that he refused to do surgery on my shoulder and said it has no problem in fixing it I am waiting surgery next month at Kaiser very bad service at North Bay Medical Centers very very bad

Dr. Pathare did a fantastic job on my rotator cuff surgery! Before surgery, my shoulder dislocated when I rolled over in my sleep or retrieved something from the floor or under my bed. Now that my recovery is complete, my shoulder is back to full strength and full range of motion. I can do everything I could do before I first dislocated my shoulder, including lift a full gallon of milk and open and close my car door. Besides being a wonderful surgeon, Dr. Pathare explained everything to me using words I could understand. He’s also very nice, approachable and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Pathare, I gave him five stars but I wish I could give him ten!

Dr. Pathare was my surgeon for a torn ACL and meniscus back in July. I tore them both when I was in Europe playing basketball and I was absolutely devastated that these injuries cut my rookie season short. From the first day we met, I knew that I wanted him to do my surgery. He made me feel welcomed and made sure that I knew everything about not only what would be happening in surgery, but also the recovery process which is just as important, if not more to get back to your original health. He laid out the groundworks and communicated with me whenever I had questions no matter how big or small. The day of surgery, I was super nervous but he and his team made it comfortable knowing I was in good hands the entire time. After that, the physical therapy started. It was a long road of recovery but with Neil's expertise and the help of my PT's, we were able to make a full recovery and now I'm waiting on the next phone call to go back overseas to continue my dream of playing pro basketball.

Dr Pathare is a fantastic orthopedic surgeon. I had my meniscus worked on and from the first appointment I felt I was in good hands with him. He was thorough and answered any questions I had. On the day of surgery he was reassuring from the start and was able to calm any nerves my wife and I had. I would not hesitate to go to Dr. Pathare for any orthopedic issues.

I had a complete shoulder replacement done in October my experience with Dr Pathare was really good he explained what would be done before my surgery and was there to see me the same day when I fell to make sure everything was ok, my recovery was fast and I’m doing really good now I have normal movement in my shoulder. Dr. Pathare operated on both my rotator cuffs. One was a repair the other a total replacement. The recoveries were faster and easier than I had hoped for. 50 yrs I went before I ever had to meet a Ortho Dr, well as it turned out Motorcycle accident led me to Dr Pathare . He showed genuine concern about my injury (broken clavicle) , loved the fact he asked about my level of activity and then gave me my options on how to move forward. Being only 50 I did not want to settle for anything less then 100% . I would highly recommend Dr P, to any of my friends and family! Let me say a few words about the staff, always smiling, friendly, and helpful. Let me give a HUGE shoutout to the physical therapy everyone I had the pleasure of working with was outstanding!!! I broke my tibia and fibula about a year ago. A very bad fracture. Dr Neil Pathare was the surgeon and he did a fantastic job! He also treated me for the problems I had post surgery due to overuse of my shoulders and elbows articulations. He is a good listener, very cordial, and most important a great doctor! Staff is nice and friendly. I also like the fact that I can have xrays and rehabilitation in the very same building.

Amazing Doctor, he's there with you the entire way to answer any questions/concerns you may have. I had to see him after breaking two metacarpals in my left hand. After receiving notice of this and receiving x-rays of my hand, he wasted no time in getting me the proper treatment and care my hand deserved. The x-rays, treatments, recovery, and surgery went off without a hitch! My hand is perfectly normal by the end of all the care it had received. Which had only taken maybe four months max from my injury to my full recovery. I honestly forget that I had broken it at some point. Cause it's good as new! He also takes the time to explain everything to you, and does not dumb anything down or sugar coat it. I am truly thankful for receiving such amazing and quality care. I would highly recommend Dr. Pathare He perform surgery and replace my shoulder he listen to my questions and answer them in a way that I could understand never rushed through any of our appointments and was very thorough with the instructions for physical therapy my shoulder is now 100%

Dr Pathare did a wonderful job explaining my options for my meniscus tear in my knee. I opted for surgery and he explained the pre and post surgery recommendations. Dr. Pathare follow up care was extremely detailed oriented and made sure I had physical therapy support and plan of action for full recovery. I am very satisfied with my care and the surgery procedure to fix my pain and inability to stand or sit for 5 minutes or longer. I would definitely seek his care for any future health issues.
