Biography: Dr. Jackson G. Cohen is a fellowship-trained, board-certified, interventional pain medicine physician. Dr. Cohen completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn before moving to Miami for his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cohen specializes in the treatment of spine and musculoskeletal pain, including neck and low back pain, hip, knee and shoulder pain, arthritis, tendon injuries, sports injuries, nerve pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and cancer pain, among other chronic pain conditions. Each patient receives an individualized treatment and management plan that is optimized to fit his or her unique needs. Dr. Cohen practices with a holistic approach, utilizing physical therapy and other modalities, minimally invasive procedures, collaborative patient education, and positive lifestyle modifications to reach healthy, positive outcomes. Biography: Dr. Roby Abraham is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship trained in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate in New York and his advanced training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida. Dr. Abraham went to medical school at the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, BS/MD 7-year program. The program has a core initiative in preventative care, which is synonymous with Dr. Abraham's goal of providing mutli-disciplinary approaches for hip and knee arthritis starting with collaborations with primary care physicians.Dr. Abraham's clinical expertise involves hip and knee arthritis, failed/painful hip and knee replacements, sports related injuries, and fractured bones. Dr. Abraham believes in providing an individualized approach to each patient's condition, considering their social factors, current disabilities and expected outcomes. Treatment without surgery is the first option for most conditions. After appropriate nonoperative treatment a wide variety of operative interventions are offered for each condition. These procedures are explained in detail with the patient and their family as active participants in the discussion.Coactive patient education, where the patient takes ownership of their health and the information given to them is another aspect of Dr. Abraham's practice that he believes improves outcomes. With robotic surgery, Dr. Abraham can verify and check the appropriate position of implants and precision of cuts to within a millimeter. Limb alignment, implant position, and soft tissue balancing are important parameters that are now measurable intraoperatively through robotic surgery.

Biography: Dr. Steven Vanni is a board-certified, fellowship trained neurosurgeon who specializes in complex spinal disorders. He originally trained as a chiropractor and has a unique understanding and appreciation for conditions of the spine. Dr. Vanni believes in patient-centered healthcare, and offers both non-surgical and surgical treatment options in his practice. He is specially trained to perform a broad range of spine procedures, including minimally invasive surgery, disc replacement surgery, spinal trauma surgery and complex revision surgery. Dr. Vanni completed his fellowship training in complex spinal disorders at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital before joining the Department of Neurological Surgery at University of Miami in 2001. There, he served as the Chief of Spinal Surgery for over 20 years. He currently serves as the Director of Neurological Surgery for HCA East Florida's Broward Market and will serve as the Chief of Staff at the new hospital opening on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Fall of 2021.During the course of his career, Dr. Vanni has participated in numerous clinical research projects and published numerous papers and book chapters related to advances in neurosurgery.
