From intro to surgery Dr. Lawrie and his team have been amazing. He really listened to my needs, expectations and concerns. It was obvious he does his research and takes individual patients into consideration. Surgery went fantastic, pain and swelling was very minimal from day 1. Dr. Lawrie recommended the use of the ROM Tech portable connect exerciser and the NICE (ice with compression) machine. They were both very helpful. Can’t imagine rehab without them. He changed his mind about me going to outpatient PT right away and stressed the importance of giving body time to heal. At first that scared me because I wanted to hit PT hard right away. But with the hourly at home exercises provided at the hospital, icing and the bike…. I know not to question his advice! Thank you Doc….. I know it’s only week 1 and there are many hurdles ahead, but I feel like Baptist health was the perfect place for this journey.

I had a total knee replacement on Wednesday Oct. 30th with Dr. Lawrie. I could not be more pleased. I was home by 3 pm and was able to walk into the house with a walker and NO PAIN! Now 5 days later I continue to have minimal pain and over 100 degrees of motion in my knee already!! I anticipate a continued quick recovery with plans to schedule the second knee soon. Thanks to Dr. Lawrie’s amazing skills and his great team.

Dr. Lawrie and his surgical prowess have given me a life I’ve not known in 20 years. A life without pain. My recovery from my total hip replacement has gone as perfectly as possible with good work being put in. He had me ready to tackle the work, and his care for his patients is just unmatched.

I had been putting off my knee replacement for some time but I am so glad I actually did it! Dr. Lawrie was excellent and I think I will barely even have a scar. The office staff ensured that all went smoothly pre and post-operatively. Doctor's Hospital took very good care of me after the surgery and all went smoothly. On Dec 2022, I had a full knee replacement! My results were life changing since I was in a wheelchair for many months prior to surgery. Thank God for Dr. Lawrie, he is the absolute best!!In July 2023, once again Dr Lawrie performed a full hip replacement which gave me back a quality of life !I have the upmost respect for Dr Lawrie, he is not only an amazing Surgeon, he is compassionate and he truly cares about his patients. The feed back I had received from the Physical Therapist is that all of Dr. Lawrie’s patient recuperate the fastest!!! I am the true example of fast recovery from both of my surgeries! I feel blessed and fortunate to have found Dr Lawrie in my life!!
