Kuklo, MD, JD, brings more than 25 years of medical expertise in his role as a principal spine surgeon and Co-Director at the Denver International Spine Center at Presbyterian / St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Kuklo graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point before graduating with honors from the U.S. Army Ranger School and serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. He eventually retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps after more than 20 years of service.He received his medical doctorate at the University of Connecticut before completing a transitional internship at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After his fellowship, Dr. Kuklo served as residency director of Orthopedic Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and then faculty at Washington University in St. Louis before joining a Denver-based spine surgery practice where he served as a spine surgeon specializing in diverse spinal conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.Dr. Kuklo is a specialist in complex spine problems and is an expert in the use of minimally invasive surgery techniques to return his patients to a healthy life. Dr. Chung received a degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University before completing his doctorate at UMDNJ - The New Jersey Medical School. He pursued his passion for orthopaedic surgery at Columbia University where he found a desire to better understand the world of spine surgery.Dr. Chung went on to Emory University's Spine Center in Atlanta to complete a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery. After his fellowship, Dr. Chung moved to Denver to further pursue his passion and expertise in spine surgery. Biography: Simon C. Oh, M.D. graduated from the undergraduate business program at Carnegie Mellon University in 1994 and worked in both the public and private sectors before pursuing a career in medicine. He attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine and graduated in 2004. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine, residency in Neurology, and fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. During his training at the University of Wisconsin, he served as the Chief Resident and was heavily involved in medical student and resident education. He was voted the Most Outstanding Neurosciences Resident by the UW medical school class of 2007. Before coming to Colorado, he was the neuromuscular specialist at the Marshfield Clinic where he was also involved in medical student and resident education. Dr. Oh is board certified in Neurology. He sees patients with a variety of neurological disorders, but has special interests in neuromuscular disorders, including peripheral neuropathies, myopathies, neuromuscular junction transmission defects, and motor neuron disease. Dr. Oh lectures across the country on various topics, including chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP). He also has fellowship training in electrodiagnostic procedures, such as EMG/nerve conduction studies. Dr. Oh remains an independent practitioner and practices out of Aurora, CO. Through dedication to patient care and a relentless focus on finding underlying causes of ailments, Dr. Oh has developed one of the busiest practices in Colorado with patients coming from all over the state.
