Cowardly PM doc. Been with him 4.5 years. Will NOT prescribe over 120 mme. And now I find out that he will NOT prescribe any opiates if you also need a benzo to treat your anxiety. Pick the medical condition that you want treated, cause he won't do both! You have 3 months to taper completely off of one of them! By the way, anxiety is a condition that happens in almost ALL chronic and intractable pain patients. It snuck up on me about 6 years ago, and will not go away if not treated!
Next month (8/2020) will mark my 20th straight year needing one form of opiate or another for an inherited condition. I've been a model patient the entire time. Never once mishandling my meds or seeking early refills, doctor shopping, etc.
The staff is great, but Patel is the boss. Do not expect him to treat you as an individual. It's ALL about the numbers baby!

The absolute best pain medicine Physician I have ever met! He has helped me regain my life without chronic back pain!! Dr.Patel is very personable and has excellent experience with various methods of pain management . The staff is also very professional and friendly! I couldn’t be happier!!

Dr Patel has literally changed my life. Before i saw him i was in so much back pain from preious back surgies. He diadnosed and treated me. Now I am backing working full time and enjoying life. I didnt think it was going to be possible again. He is a lifesaver.

What a wonderful Dr. is Dr. Patel. He did steroid injection on me....he is patient, answers any and all questions. I cannot recommend him highly enough for patients with spine/nerve problems. And the staff at this facility are EXCELLENT also.

Dr. Patel started seeing me almost 2 years ago after moved here. With all the different procedures I had had done before we moved, he has been able to find the right mix of medications so that my neck fusions don't cause daily pain and my lower back fusion doesn't leave me crying every day. I'll never be back to my pre-surgery (he did none of them) self, but at least I can do things I haven't been able to in a long time.
