Biography: Dr. Khattri received her medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in India, and completed her residency at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. She began her practice in 2005, with a goal of fostering a caring relationship with her patients and their families through open communication. Dr. Khattri loves to hear each of her young patient's stories and enjoys seeing the development of each child. Taking care of newborns and watching them grow is an experience she describes as ``magical``. Dr. Khattri is from Nagda India, and is fluent in the Hindi launguage. Her family is her priority, spending time volunteering in her son's classroom, as well as her love of Yoga and watching movies with her kids. Her personal philosophy is this: ``take care of others, put others' needs before your own and do no harm.``

Biography: Dr. Shanmugam received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating with honors. She completed her residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. After working in a private pediatric practice for five years, she moved to San Diego and joined Arch (then Centre for Health Care) in 2001. Dr. Shanmugan enjoys learning about the families in her practice and watching their children grow and develop. She likes the diagnostic challenges that arise in pediatrics as well. Her special interest is in autoimmune disorders such as Celiac Disease and Type I Diabetes. Dr. Shanmugan holds degrees in both biology and music, and has volunteered her talents in the latter at her young daughter's elementary school and at church. She also enjoys walking, hiking and bicycling, as well as travelling. Her current goal is to try backpacking in the Sierras with her husband and two daughters.
