Care Philosophy: I was born in Jamaica, where I completed medical school. I did my Internship and residency at LSU/Louisiana and Cleveland Clinic/Akron General Hospital Ohio, respectively, then came to work in Ventura, where I have practiced for 15 years. Welcome to my new practice with Dignity Health Medical Group on Main Street in Ventura. "Come and Be Well" I enjoy taking care of families and seeing people get well and return to tell me about it.

Care Philosophy: I take a patient-centered approach to medicine and view myself as an educator and advisor, allowing my patients to be active drivers of their medical care. I aim to treat my patients as whole people, taking into consideration the many unique facets that affect a person's health. I want to create a comfortable and open environment that develops honesty and trust among myself and my patients.

Care Philosophy: I describe my practice style as caring and think of myself as a health coach and a partner to my patients in their health care. As an internist, I treat diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anxiety, depression, stress management, insomnia, and many other conditions. I'm especially interested in preventative health care, working on getting my patients healthier and treating medical conditions with lifestyle changes, weight management, exercise, and nutrition. In some instances, my methods have allowed patients to improve their health to the point where prescription medications are no longer needed.
