Dr. David Crownover, MD

Do not go here if you are pregnant. This doctor refused to look at my vagina at my 6 week pp visit. He said it was unnecessary. I tore badly and was in severe pain for months. I used a walker when I left hospital yet I was told all my pain ' is normal' . Now I know it's not normal to not be checked after birth especially after so many stitches and such a traumatic birth. 2 years later I still have pain. New ob said I was not stitched up properly and that I should have been looked at even if I wasn't in severe pain. Side note: he didn't even attend my birth yet didn't want to check when I was in horrible pain. What excuse is there?!

Straightforward, and extremely knowledgeable. Superb bedside manner while assisting with a less than comfortable procedure. I would highly recommend this provider.

Was able to follow with Dr. Crownover for the birth of our second child. He was very thorough, efficient, and explained everything clearly. He really makes sure that everything is covered and he's always available to touch base if you have concerns at any time. I appreciate his follow through on everything and how quickly he works to complete things for you. Dr. C performed my second c section and I had such a better experience than the first time. Dr. Crownover's skill and expertise made this surgery significantly easier to heal from than my first. I am disappointed that I won't be able to continue with him (due to moving) as I have absolute trust in the level of care he provides for his patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Crownover for approximately 5 years. He has helped us through three pregnancies (one ended in miscarriage), two births, and a subsequent surgery I needed, as well as all that comes with being post partum. Through it all he has been patient with any and all questions I have, has taken every concern of mine into consideration and has helped with any and everything. I will continue to go to him for well woman exams and anything else I may need from an OB.

Dr. Crownover is the best OBGYN out there. When we were expecting our first child, I had tons of questions and concerns. He made me feel comfortable, confident and well taken care of. I can’t wait for him to help us with pregnancy #2!

Dr. Crownover is a wonderful doctor. He made my second birth experience better than I could have asked for. He is professional, patient, and informative. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and never makes you feel rushed. I wish all doctors were like this.

Dr. Crownover is the best! He is by far the most compassionate doctor I have ever had. He takes his time to make sure that he has addressed all of your questions, and he shows that he truly cares about you.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Crownover. He is professional, caring, and made me feel confident throughout the entire experience. This was my second child and I did not have the same positive experience with my previous doctor. He is very sweet and kind. He takes his time with you and treats you as family not just a patient. He is also very gentle with exams and will explain each procedure before and tell you step by step durrung procedure.
