Biography: Dr. Prebish is a Minimally Invasive General Surgeon, with specialization in robotic techniques. In addition to his surgical endeavors, he also performs advanced wound care and serves as the medical director of the wound care center at two area hospitals. He has helped launch the Robotic Surgery program at two hospitals in the community. Dr. Prebish is a cum laude graduate of Michigan State University and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as a two-term elected student body Vice President. During his surgical residency, he served as chief surgical resident two consecutive years. He was nominated by his peers to serve as the Chief of Staff at HCA Pasadena Hospital. He now serves the Pinellas county community at HCA Pasadena Surgical Specialists. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida in 1979. His internship and residency in general surgery were served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Collins completed a post-graduate fellowship in peripheral vascular surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1984. Dr. Collins is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Pinellas County Medical Society and the Society for Vascular Surgery. His special interests include peripheral vascular disease, surgical critical care and laparoscopic surgery.
