Biography: Marian Porubsky, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon and transplant surgeon. He is fully-trained in all aspects of abdominal transplant surgery including liver, kidney and pancreas transplants as well as laparoscopic donor nephrectomies. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas. A native of Slovakia, Dr. Porubsky completed his medical training at Komensky University in Bratislava, Slovakia. Biography: Keyur Chavda, MD, is a board certified bariatric and general surgeon who cares for patients ages 18 and older who speaks fluent English, Hindi, and Gujarati. In addition to bariatric surgery, Dr. Chavda treats patients who need various procedures, including acid reflux, hiatal hernia, gallbladder, spleen, stomach, and hernia surgeries. Dr. Chavda earned his medical degree from the B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He then completed his general surgery residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania and a bariatric fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. Dr. Chavda is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. In his spare time, Dr. Chavda enjoys reading, riding his bike, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Biography: Dr. Jorge Marcet, MD is a Complex General Surgical Oncology Specialist who practices in Tampa, FL. He is 69 years old and has been practicing for 40 years. Dr. Jorge Marcet, MD is affiliated with Tampa General Hospital and Tampa General Hospital.

Biography: Dr. Mino is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon specializing in diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus in addition to his general surgery interests. Dr. Mino obtained his Bachelors degrees at Wheaton College with majors in Biology, Economics, and Theology. He attended medical school at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he received the concomitant degrees of Medical Doctor and a Masters of Public Health. He did his general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic of Ohio and stayed on for his fellowship in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. Dr. Mino is double board certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and is a member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in both fields and presented at numerous national conferences. Dr. Mino's particular areas of interest include laparoscopic and robotic treatment for colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pelvic floor dysfunctions including rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, and rectoceles. He also treats anorectal pathology including fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, perianal abscesses, and condylomas.

Biography: Dr. Alpendre is a fellowship-trained general surgeon who is specialized in minimally invasive general surgery. Dr. Alpendre received his medical school education from the Federal University of Parana (UFPR) in Curitiba-Brazil, the oldest University in the country. He received general surgery training at one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil State University of Campinas, Sao Paulo (UNICAMP).
