Care Philosophy: Dr. Fowzia Hakym graduated with honors from the University of Texas Dental where she was named on the National Dean™s list every year she was in school. She was also recognized on the All-American Scholars Collegiate directory and was a recipient of the Southwest Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons Award a coveted award for surgical excellence. In addition, she has been named one of Silicon Valley™s TOP DOCS and was included in America™s Top Dentists, by the Research Council of America. After graduation Dr. Hakym moved to California and had a very successful and well known cosmetic dental practice in San Jose, CA. until she returned to Houston in 2013. For Dr. Hakym, healing is a calling. She comes from a long line of doctors, with over 30 Physicians in her family, many of them right here in the greater Houston area! She believes that for a person to look and feel their very best and most youthful, their entire body must be in harmony, including their mouth. The connection of oral health with the rest of the body is now fairly well known and accepted.
