Dr. Verma completed his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. This advanced training has equipped him with the skills and knowledge required to address a wide range of complex cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. Dr. Verma is additionally board-certified in general surgery having completed his residency in General Surgery at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his medical education at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he completed a rigorous six-year B.A./M.D. program from 2010 to 2016. This accelerated program provided him with a solid foundation in both the basic sciences and clinical practice, setting the stage for his future specialization.
