Congenital defect repair
Dr. Vincent Tam completed a pulmonic valve replacement High risk open-heart surgery when I was 14 years old that Two other surgeons had declined because of the high risk nature of the operation back in May of 2000 at Eggleston in Atlanta, Georgia. Not only did he do an excellent job with the surgery that took about eight hours, but his moral and ethics were on display as well and we were very impressed. I remember shortly before they wheeled me to the operating room. My family and pastors had come in to pray for me, when Doctor Tam Entered the room not only was he respectful But he even allowed the pastor to lay hands on him and pray for his wisdom and steady hand during the surgery. I know that different people have different experiences as time goes on and people change over the years, but this was my experience with him And it has never left me in a good way.I am alive today and am raising three of my own children now because he was willing to Take that risk. Thanks

Dr. Tam did a completely different heart surgery than we gave consent for and discussed on our 4.5 year old son Mikey. Now our son is gone because of Dr. Tam's negligence. #JusticeforMikey
