Biography: Editha Krueger, MD, is a radiation oncologist with the Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Krueger is an expert in breast cancer treatments and is board certified in radiation oncology. She is a member of American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). Dr. Krueger received her degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She completed her residency at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and served as chief resident in her final year of training. Distinguished in the field, Dr. Krueger earned the Radiologic Society of North America Resident Research Award. She co-authored several publications on breast cancer. She was in private practice for 20 years in northeast Wisconsin before moving to Arizona. Special interests include spending quality time with her family, running, biking, and swimming.Philosophy of Care: I believe in combining compassionate care with cutting-edge technology. I have learned through the years that I am treating not just the patients cancer but the individual person as well.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Patel aims to educate his patients regarding their diagnosis and guide them in making a treatment decision after carefully reviewing the risks and benefits of each option. He has special expertise in the management of prostate and skin cancers, and is able to provide individualized treatment approaches within a context of evidence-based medicine. For prostate cancer, Dr. Patel offers external radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, and high-dose-rate brachytherapy all in combination with hydrogel placement in order to reduce rectal toxicity. For skin cancer, Dr. Patel offers external radiation therapy as well as custom skin mold high-dose-rate brachytherapy which can significantly shorten treatments and reduce dose to surrounding tissues.
