Amazingly talented and confident surgeon
Late October/early November of 2022 we met Dr Lorimer for the first time. Being as young as Dr Lorimer was, he told my husband that if he were his father he would recommend the same course of treatment. We felt that was all we needed to hear to put our trust in his judgment. He proved our decision to be a sound one. Although it was a bit complicated, he had all possibilities covered and was able to pronounce my husband free of pancreatic cancer as of 7/27/23.He proved to be a kind, caring, personable and consummate professional. As the last in line after the gastroenterologist specialist, oncologist, radiologist and many attending nurses, volunteers, office personnel and hospitalists and hospital personnel, his finale was the absolutely best outcome we could have ever expected. We shall always see him as a hero.

Highly Recommend
Dr Loriner was fantastic for my liver cancer surgery. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and uses patience and his team members voices in his decision making process. He is kind and gentle while understanding the risks of surgery. Even with all that experience, he has great bedside manner and ability to calm his patients. His entire team was comforting and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Arizona Top Doc
Dr. Lorimer is a very competent, professional and personable doctor who truly cares about his patients. He explained every aspect of my condition as well as the treatment regime he recommended for it. I was also pleasantly surprised that he directly interacted with my other care professionals to ensure that they were informed regarding the surgical aspect of my treatment. I cant say enough goods things regarding him and his staff's service.

Excellent Treating My Cancer
Dr. Patrick Lorimer is an excellent physician and surgeon, both from a professional and personal perspective. After being surprised by pancreatic cancer, Dr. Lorimer was in continual contact with my Oncologist and Radiologist, confirming the appropriate treatment and staying on track of my progress. In all my appointments he has been honest, straightforward, and encouraging. I came out off all meetings well-informed and focused on the work for all of us to do in fighting this cancer. Whipple surgery is, of course, challenging to endure as a patient, but Dr. Lorimer was continually supportive. He even helped raise my mood when hospitalized, bringing a positive attitude into the room with all visits. I feel extremely fortunate for being able to be treated by a gifted surgeon with a fun, stress-relieving personality.

Wonderful Doctor and Surgeon!!!
Dr Lorimer has been a god send through my cancer journey. He is professional and compassionate taking time to answer questions and help me make treatment decisions. He has operated on me twice and I trust him with my life. During one hospital stay he held my hand when I became tearful and overwhelmed by my health challenges. I can’t imagine a more supportive doctor or a more skilled surgeon. Thank you Dr Lorimer.

Abhorrent
I wish there was a way to give him a lower rating, he DOESN’T even deserve 1 star. If you are looking for compassion in a time of uncertainty, this man will NOT provide it. While I understand a straightforward approach, that does NOT excuse you from having compassion and empathy for your patients.

The Best Choice When There Are No Other Options
I expect to have the bully talk with my children, not with my 70 year old Mom. This "doctor" is a well educated bully, no more. If you, as many practitioners do, believe that a positive attitude is essential for healing, avoid this bully. It seems he goes out of his way to make his patients feel small.

Absolutely Horrific
Dr. Lorimer is by far one of the worst surgeons. He makes you feel like you’re crazy and totally gaslights you. He also makes you feel like it’s a huge inconvenience to even be talking to you. His “tell it like it is” attitude is just an excuse to be a total jerk and treat you like garbage……I mean if you looking for a surgeon with a god complex to make you feel horrible about your medical crisis, he’s your guy.
