Biography: Dr. Shaun Maloney received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. Following graduation, he completed his surgery internship at the Phoenix Integrated Surgery program in Phoenix, Arizona, and his Urology residency at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Maloney treats both male and female patients in all aspects of General Urology. His special interests include Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(BPH or enlarged prostate), kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer. He also performs in-office neonatal circumcision. Dr. Maloney primarily sees patients at our Round Rock #1 office, but also sees patients at our Georgetown and Lampasas offices on a limited schedule during specific times.

Biography: Dr. David Freidberg received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, and completed his Urology Residency at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Dr. Freidberg sees both male and female patients, and has special interests in general urology, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH or enlarged prostate), urinary incontinence, hypoandrogenism, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and performing vasectomies. Biography: Dr. Elizabeth Mobley knew, from a very young age, that she wanted to be a surgeon and worked diligently towards that goal. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia Honors Program, completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. From there, she completed her Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Mobley pursued her urology training at the University of Utah, where she was appointed as the Chief Urology Resident during her final year. Following her residency, she completed fellowship training in general urology with a focus on female pelvic floor reconstruction and urologic oncology at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. While Elizabeth Mobley enjoys working with both male and female patients, she has a strong interest in male urology, including the management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH or enlarged prostate) through the use of minimally invasive therapies such as UroLift. Dr. Mobley's interests also include male and female urinary incontinence, vasectomies, low testosterone in males and females, voiding dysfunction, pelvic floor prolapse (cystocele, uterine or vaginal fault prolapse with enterocele, and rectocele), kidney stone disease, renal masses and bladder masses. She is trained in open, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Dr. Mobley has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at many meetings and educational activities. The focus of her research and publications has broadly regarded topics related to outcomes following surgical correction of Peyronie's disease, penile length following inflatable penile prosthetic surgery, and antimicrobial use during urologic prosthetic surgery. Biography: Dr. David Cuellar is a graduate of the UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and completed his residency at the University of Maryland. Dr. Cuellar also completed an advanced training fellowship in minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgery and complex stone surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He has special interests in robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of all genitourinary cancers. Dr. Cuellar serves as the head of Urology at Seton Northwest Hospital (2017-present), a position he held at St. David's North Austin Medical Center for the six prior years. He has been on the Robotics Steering Committee for both hospitals. In addition, he is a proctor/trainer for the daVinci Robotic Surgical System and began using the Da Vinci robotics system in Austin in 2004. In July 2018, Dr. David Cuellar was honored by Seton Northwest Hospital for being the first practicing Urologist in Austin to complete 1,000 robotic surgeries! Biography: Along with his busy urology practice at our Round Rock #1 location, Grady Bruce serves as the Medical Director for the Round Rock Center for Continence. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the UT Dell School or Medicine, and served as preceptor for Ob-Gyn residency Urogynecology rotation from 2007 – 2017. Dr. Bruce serves as a member of the Executive Board of Directors for Urology Austin, and is an active participant in many local, regional, and national physician societies. These societies include: the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS), Society for Urodynamics and Female Urogenital reconstruction (SUFU), and Health Talents International – a Urogynecology/Pelvic Surgery mission team to Guatemala. Dr. Bruce has a special interest in female urology and incontinence, and has the distinction of being Board Certified in both Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), as well as General Urology. During his medical training, Grady Bruce was awarded the Pfizer Scholars in Urology Award while in residency at the University of Kentucky, and won numerous other awards for abstract presentations. Dr. Bruce then completed fellowship training in FPMRS, Voiding Dysfunction, and Incontinence at Emory University School of Medicine and the Emory Continence Center. Biography: Dr. Carl Bischoff is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Bischoff completed his Urology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and his Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Bischoff practices general urology with a focus on urologic oncology. He has a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of urologic cancers as well as reconstructive surgery. Dr. Bischoff has been chosen to train on the daVinci SP Surgical System – a state-of-the-art robotic system that reduces surgical access to one incision, while allowing 360 degree maneuverability and an expanded range of surgical instruments. Biography: Dr. Shaw completed his undergraduate and graduate studies with the world's foremost scholars in medicine at Boston University. In 1994, he was fortunate to work with Dr. Irwin Goldstein, one of the original investigators for a little blue pill that eventually was called Viagra®. Dr. Goldstein took Dr. Shaw under his wing, and the rest is history. Following this, he was accepted to the Tulane Urology program in New Orleans with Dr. Raju Thomas. At Tulane he was fortunate to receive top notch training in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery, and participated in the first da Vinci Robotic Surgery program in the Gulf Coast in 2000. Dr. Shaw is proud to have lived with, and help care for, the wonderful people of New Orleans during his time there. Dr. Shaw moved back to his home state of Texas and picked Austin to be his home in 2004, but never lost his taste for New Orleans cuisine. Dr. Shaw enjoys being in the middle of the action, beginning with his appointment as Chief Resident at Tulane. In Austin, Dr. Shaw has become a respected leader in the medical community, having been appointed as the Chief of Staff at St. David's, North Austin Medical Center, a Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospital in the United States. Additionally, he has received the ``Top Urologist`` and the ``Patients' Choice`` Award several years in a row. Dr. Shaw is also proud to be one of two physicians to be a part of the Kidney Transplant team for Central Texas and North Austin Medical Center. Biography: Dr. Varun Sundaram received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. After eight years in St. Louis, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he completed his general surgery and urologic surgery training at UT Southwestern. During his training, Dr. Sundaram developed an interest in advanced robotic surgery of the prostate, bladder, and kidney. He is well versed in treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia ranging from robotic simple prostatectomy for very enlarged prostates to newer minimally invasive options, such as rezum or urolift, for medium and small sized glands. Dr. Sundaram also offers more traditional methods, such as transurethral resection of the prostate, laser ablation of the prostate, and transurethral incision of the prostate.

Biography: Originally from Central Texas, Dr. Lawrence "Law" Tsai graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Plan II Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin in 2010. He later earned his medical doctorate from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2014 and completed his Urology residency training in 2019 at Baylor Scott and White. During his time as chief resident, Dr. Tsai refined his abilities in the da Vinci Robot system and in all aspects of general urology. He also developed his skills with HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate), an advanced and effective procedure for BPH treatment. He is currently the only urologist in the Austin area who offers the HoLEP.Dr. Tsai was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a lifetime member during residency, reflecting his compassion for patients and humanism in medicine. He understands it takes an entire community to treat and care for a patient. He enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, discovering local eats, and building computers in his spare time.
