I was having constant pain from my shoulder into my hand, experiencing weakness & dropping things. He is kind & caring. After surgery things are so much better!

I had bad back pain about 6 years,l went to the chiropractor and he told me that l would have to have surgery later on l had been referred to Dr. Dodd. He's a excellent surgeon and l liked him very much as my sister says he knows he's doing! I feel great!!!

Dr. Dodd is a tremendous asset to the Bloomington, IN area for surgery of the spine. He has taken a 20+ year painful disc issue, and given me my life back, pain free! I can't recommend him highly enough. His office staff are professional and courteous. His confidence in addressing my issue gave me the peace of mind to go ahead with a difficult decision.

Dr. Dodd is an incredible physician...he's very professional, caring& has a very pleasant bedside manner. I had suffered for several years with severe back pain after a fall on ice at work so my regular physician referred me to Dr. Dodd. Hoping to avoid surgery I tried physical therapy & 2 spinal injections but neither one provided the results I hoped for. I couldn’t have been provided better service and care. My surgery went great have had no issues and was back to work 12 days after surgery.

I would tell everyone to come see Dr Dodd He has done both my Neck and my Back surgery . They have both went well with me following his orders . I can walk again so I am very thankful to him for that. He has made my life where I can go on working till I am ready to retire and not have to just live in pain . I tired everything before coming to him and I am so glad that Dr Beck sent me to him .Hi staff is very helpful and I never had a long wait time . I would use him again If I needed him .

Didn't have need of scheduling urgent appointment so did not answer. Dr Dodd appeared very competent and answered any and all questions I asked of him. I would utilize his services again if required.

I thought Dr. Dodd treated like my husband like he didn't have time for his pain. His bedside manner was the worst of any doctor we had seen. He acted like I should not dare question his opinion. When I do take my husband elsewhere for another opinion the new Dr could not believe a neurosurgeon had told us my husbands problem was not surgical. We found out later the insurance my husband had at that time would not cover him. That's no excuse for being rude.

Dr. Dodd was very thorough, he explained all my options and let me choose what I felt was best for me. He really knows what he is talking about and shows concern for his patients. I highly recommend him!

The doctor was perfectly nice and competent. I felt a bit like I had to really ask to get information that maybe should have been basic to provide especially about recovery issues. However, getting him and his office to process and sign basic paperwork like prescriptions and FMLA documents became a bit of a nightmare and cost me days of work. Everyone was very nice, but it all seemed disorganized regarding paperwork.
