Dr. Trevor Black, DPM

Dr. Trevor Black is an outstanding Podiatrist & Surgeon. He repaired my left achilles back in July 2024. I can't lie, it was rough and I wasn't sure of the outcome, but here I am 8 months post op and I am doing great. Back walking normal, and now even running miles, and working out at the gym on a regular basis. I remember praying to God to put me into the right surgeons hands to perform my surgery and I'm blessed that God chose Dr. Black. I truly believe that that is Dr. Blacks calling. I can tell he really is passionate and takes pride in his profession. I won't sit here and say he's the nicest doctor lol jk but he did answer all of my questions in-person and through the portal, and he most definitely cares for his patients in a great way, And for that, I am grateful.

Dr Black is very personable, making me comfortable the minute I met him. He took his time explaining procedures to me. I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions in layman terms. He reviewed my X-rays with me at every visit, making sure I understood what I saw. He listened to my concerns and did everything to make sure I was informed about where we were in the process. I always felt he cared about my wellbeing.

Dr. Black, Immediately understood what I had been telling other Doctors for 5 years, He got me right and my foot pain of 7 years is almost completely gone. I feel like I have a new foot. Thank you Dr. Black

Dr Black has done surgery on both my feet. I wish he were general practice, so he could be my primary care doctor. He gives new meaning to bedside manner. He's a caring, and compassionate doctor that does his job, above and beyond. I would highly recommend him for any and all your podiatry needs. Absolutely outstanding in every way!

I was referred to Dr. Black by a Kaiser podiatrist for surgery. Ten weeks post surgery my foot is healing nicely. I saw Dr. Black twice pre-op and three times post op. At every visit Dr. Black was very personable and made me feel comfortable and trusting. He listened to my concerns and answered all questions. He took the time to review x-rays and an MRI with complete detail. He made sure that I understood what my x-rays showed and the options for treatment. I appreciated the time he spent with me at each visit. I could not have expected a better outcome.

Very happy with Dr. Black!! He really listens to what you have to say. I broke my ankle in 4 places, surgery on 9/29. I was weight bearing at 8 weeks and walking right before Christmas. My advice listen to Dr. Black and seriously be careful not to fall while healing!

Dr. Black performed surgery on my ankle, and I could not be more pleased. Everything from my pre-op/post-op visits to the actual surgery, I have absolutely nothing but good things to say. Dr. Black answered all of my questions and explained to me exactly what I should expect after my surgery. He is very professional and truly cares about his patients. Dr. Black repaired the fractured bone in my foot. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done. He has always given me the time needed and answered any questions I had. At each of my post op appointments he always showed me the x-ray and explained my progress. He is an excellent doctor and is very passionate about his work. He displays a confidence that lets you know you are getting the best care. I would highly recommend Dr. Black to anyone.

Dr. Black is excellent professional and He only does surgery as a necessity I'm so grateful that he is handling my care. I trust him he is an upbeat decent human beings who really takes time with and absolutely Carr's about his patients and I'm a hard but to crack if you hear it from me it's the real deal.

Simply no post surgical followup. Not willing to discuss options. Very rushed.

Dr. Black exceeded every expectation I had. From the start he thoroughly explained what I should expect before and after surgery. I felt at ease and in good hands.. an overall great surgeon and great person! Highly recommend.

Dr Black was excellent. He thoroughly explained my diagnosis and layed out clear and understandable treatment options. He demonstrated an excellent bedside manner. He showed compassion and communicated well with me and my family. He has been quick to respond to my questions and messages. I wish I had more doctors like him.

Very inexperienced, and very cold. Rushes patients and refuses to discuss non-surgical options. Evasive on questions to the point of not answering at all. Makes no eye contact with patients and not only is in a rush in appointments but actually comments he doesn't have time to talk. Very cursory exam. Hard to get an appointment with him, hard to reach, doesn't respond to Kaiser emails in a timely fashion. Got very offended by a request to refer for a second opinion.
