Awful
Bad bedside manor Won't inform my elderly grandmother of things she has the right to know about her own healthcare. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

I had a left knee replacement three weeks ago. He visited me twice in the Hospital for about 10 seconds each time, Awful bedside manner. He would only provide me with two weeks of pain relief medicine post op. I have already had a right knee replacement and know it is at least a month before there is adequate relief post op...especially when doing all of the PT and exercises. Dr. Bylak did my right knee and retired so I was stuck with Dr Johnson who is a far worse doctor!

DR JOHNSON PERFORMED A HIP REPLACEMENT ON ME, AND HE DIDN'T SEE ME ONCE IN MY 3 DAY HOSPITAL STAY AND THEN THEY DIDN'T SEE ME UNTIL 6WKS AFTER SURGERY. HE TALKED TO ME MAYBE 4-5 MINUTES, DID NOT LOOK AT THE INCISION ,NOR TAKE AN X-RAY TO CHECK ON PROCEDURE AFTER I ASKED. AFTER 6 MONTHS I INSISTED ON AN X-RAY AFTER SEVERAL TIMES OF ASKING. HE SAID THE X-RAY LOOKED OK ,I ASKED HIM WHY IS IT SO SWOLLEN AND I'M STILL HURTING,HE REPLIED 'IT WILL WORK ITSELF OUT,WELL.NOT BETTER AFTER 12 MNTHS, PRAYING

I recently had surgery on my shoulder. I had put off having this done for over a year . Excellent recovery and only wish I had done this earlier. Dr. Johnson is a caring doctor and his staff was excellent! River Valley hospital is excellent and I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received!

Two and a half years ago, Dr. Johnson did a knee replacement on me in Hot Springs. I just had to have it redone 5 weeks ago. The femur component was too big and at the wrong angle. I only had 75° bend and severe pain. My pain after the revision was no worse than before the surgery. Unfortunately, because of the extensive repair, I can only expect 90° bend. Wish it had been done right the first time!

My experience with trent was horrible. 6/5/14 I arrived at mercy hospital due to a gunshot wound to my foot. He visited me in the trauma center after he looked at my xrays. He told me about the procedure he would take as far as amputation. I simply asked with respect if I should see a specialist or get a second opinion. He told me he was a specialist and turned around looked at the ER nurse with a sarcastic grin and said, let's get him a second opinion. He took off his gloves and walked out.
