Dr. Wesley Stotler, DO

I saw Dr. Stotler for a broken ankle. He explained that surgery was not necessary but he highly recommended it for faster healing. I said I would have to think about it. Next thing I know they are trying to schedule me for pre surgery exams. Then today, 3 weeks later I get a call to schedule pre surgery exams after I had let them know I had opted out of surgery and had received a second opinion. This second doctor said he would never recommend surgery for the type of break I had. It seems Dr. Stotler might be an orthopedic surgeon who prefers to cut. I recommend getting a second opinion.

Staff was very nice and helpful, doctor not so much!! He didn’t explain the X-ray at all. He gave some over the counter medication recommendations but didn’t give any advice or information on dosage. I don’t feel like he listened or was concerned about my concerns.

I broke my ankle in Italy! He operated on me quickly and efficiently when I returned. Very professional and I’m one day post op and the pain is well controlled.

I found everyone at the clinic to be patient and friendly. They were professional and very informative. They explained all the options that I had and was helpful in letting me know what was going to happen.

Dr. Stotler diagnosed my Achilles condition immediately and gave me options for repair. He was very professional, kind, and thorough. I appreciate Dr. Stotler!

Referred to Dr. Stotler by my podiatrist for a bunionectomy and straightening claw toes on one foot. After weeks of him saying I was doing great, I brought up with his PA that I was concerned about all toes began curving again. PA was concerned also and got the Dr. He wanted to do more surgery immediately! I left and got second opinions that said not a good idea yet. Finally got some physical therapy through my GP after Stotler insisted there was no physical therapy for feet. My foot is now WORSE than before the surgery. I have scar tissue behind each toe and will probably require more surgery at some time.

The building is just a building. The people inside are what makes the difference. Every single person we have come into contact with at Tulsa Bone and Joint has been pleasant and efficient and understanding. Dr. Stotler is the best at what he does!

I have been treated by Dr Stotler for years and he is an excellent doctor. Very thorough, explains option and takes time to make sure all questions are answer. His staff is outstanding as well! Very responsive to any needs!

When you have a good ankle break... many things go through your mind! Dr. Stotler and staff did a great job explaining everything to get me back to where I was like before. Dr. S did a great job on the surgery getting everything back set and they all provided info on what I needed to do to help keep his hard work in check with the part I needed to do.
