Great first visit
we just had our first visit with Dr. Shockley and his team. Multiple people came in and communicated clearly. He was very nice to our 10-year-old and we have surgery planned soon.

Shocked me
On my surgery day I was dehydrated. I am shy and very anxious about having surgery so I kept vomiting, i couldn't keep water down. They told me to pee in a cup before surgery but I had no pee. So I was told I was in kidney failure and they couldn't do surgery. They did do the surgery at a later time and my kidneys work well. But I won't go back. I am sure he is a fine person but he traumatized my brain. Surgery is hard enough. I am seeing another surgeon for the next ankle repair. The first surgery with Shockley didn't fix the problem.

I would not
didnt listen to me so told me he was giving me a shot in knee. Knee did not hurt. Since then I have not been able to kneel or bend it. On second visit his PA diagnosed it correctly and I spent three months unable to walk until the calf healed only unable to bend knnee

I had my right knee replaced and it is like awsome and I made a mistake and listened to a family member and pick a different Dr for my left knee.I then had left knee revision by a different Dr and went well but now I must have a back fusion But have a great Dr to do it.I just wanted to say thanks Dr Shockley in short live and learn. Ok thanks

My husband is a patient of Dr. Shockley. He injured his knee in 2019 and we were able to get in to see him in 1 day. MRI same day. He explained everything in terms we understood, never trying to act like we could not understand technical terms. My husband has had a couple of knee injections and needs a brace for support. Dr. Shocley has a PA also but I can't remember his name but he was very helpful also. I would recommend Dr. Shockley and Advanced Orthopedic to anyone looking for complete orthopedic service.

It was awesome. Dr Shockley told us what was needed, he did that and showed me what he had done. all 3 groups, Advanced Ortopedics, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital and Redbud Therapy exceeded my expectations.

I appreciate the ease of communicating with Dr. Shockley. So many Doctors display arrogance, and do not seem to want to answer questions. That is not the case with Dr. Shockley. His staff is efficient, and friendly.
