Dr. Whitman did a wonderful job on my complete knee replacement. He was vey helpful by providing all of the details of my surgery and what I needed to do after the surgery for it to be a success.

Total knee replacement
Dr Whitman is a fantastic doctor. 100% recommend Dr Whitman to anyone needing a great orthopedic Doctor. Very thorough and straight to the point. I’m only 3 months out and making good progress. His appointments are always on time and he is still able to answer any and all questions his patient’s may have.

I saw another Dr who was going to do surgery saying I had no choice but when Dr Whitman looked at the MRI it was a whole different story experience makes a difference for sure.

One of the best.
Been seeing Dr Whitman for 10yrs and he has always been straight forward and allows you to make the decision once he explains the options. He’s a no nonsense Dr and that’s what I like. He knows his patients and doesn’t have to spend a lot of time reviewing past visits. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from joint issues. The entire staff are very nice and caring people. I have never had a bad experience or had to wait more than 15-20mins to be called back.

I felt fortunate to be able to get an appointment with Dr. Whitman(he had been recommended to me by a satisfied friend) so quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful.My time in the waiting room was brief as well as in the examining room. Dr. Whitman was professional, informative, and I even saw a bit of a sense of humor (which I appreciate in everyone). I just hope and definitely pray his expertise and care will help me through this pain.

Dr. Whitman took the time to explain my x-rays, discuss all my options, answer my questions, and help me decide the best treatment. I received treatment at that appointment and experienced relief within hours. I would highly recommended him!

Even though my appointment was later in the afternoon, when I stopped by the office to drop off some xrays, the receptionist said that Dr. Whitman would be able to see me while I was there. That saved me a lot of time that afternoon. I only waited about 10 minutes before seeing Dr. Whitman. He showed me the stats and explained that the break was healing and that I could start using a walker.

Wonderful surgeon
Dr Whitman did surgery on my husbands broken hip, did partial replacement and was wonderful to me and my husband. Everything went well and Bristol Regional Hospital was great

I don't think he looked up from the laptop the entire time so I don't have much to go on. His attitude was almost rude to me. And there were staples lying on the floor and exam table that had been removed from someone, that was alarming!
