Excellent Doctor
My experience with Dr. Boykin has been nothing but positive, especially considering the pain I was in. He successfully repaired both my right and left shoulders. Dr. Boykin is an excellent listener and set realistic goals for me throughout both recoveries. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I never met with Dr Boykin personally this particular visit just staff at MRI location. The wait was long and there was a hold up of around 30 minutes in the MRI area waiting on the orbital exam. The Staff in the MRI were super nice and apologetic for the hold up .

Rotator Cuff Repair Surgery Followup

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Boykin took wonderful care of my torn meniscus in my knee. Surgery went well with him and the required physical therapy was very helpful. Thanks to Dr. Boykin I am now pain free and able to be active again.

Very competent; very effective
Dr. Boykin did a complete shoulder replacement for me in June, 2024. He was very professional in his approach, very competent in his surgical ability, and his substantial skills were very effective evident in the positive outcome. Six months after surgery, no pain, full range of motion, good strength in the shoulder.

Thorough and efficient
Dr. Boykin replaced my ACL, cleaned up my meniscus and stitched my MCL after a horse accident. The surgery was a success and his care reintroducing me back into my normal activities was appreciated.

A Doctor Who Cares
With the patient portal, check in was a breeze. I waited less than 5 minutes before being called back for the pre-exam questions. It was a very short wait before Dr. Boykin came in and checked me out. His manner is impeccable and his examinations are thorough. He ordered x-rays and quickly determined that the tingling in my arm and hand were not from my shoulder. He scheduled an appointment with a nerve specialist. I felt listened too and cared for.

Great orthopedic provider!
Dr. Boykin did a medial meniscus repair in my knee and I have had the best experience having him as my surgeon. He was thorough, honest, open, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and even went through and explained every picture of the inside of my knee to me without being asked. I have never had a provider do that. He goes above and beyond and seems to actually care about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. And if I ever need orthopedic surgery again, I will be coming back to him. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you for the great care, Dr. Boykin! I am truly so appreciative.

Clear and concise
Expected to hear basically what was reviewed with me at the appointment. Dr was clear and explained options and my current condition very carefully and succinctly. My choice of procedure (reverse shoulder) was clearly the conclusion. Only real concern is hopefully getting it scheduled in a timely manner.
