I went in to see Doctor Vendiola due to some pelvic pain I had been experiencing. I made sure I was very thorough in explaining what I felt. I felt like she had no interest in what I was saying I also felt like she was rushing me to get the appointment over with. When it came to my pelvic pain the 2 “tests” she ran on me was 1. Pushing on my lower abdomen where I had told her the pain was. And 2. Inserting 2 fingers and pushing in the same area to “check for cysts” I’m no medical professional but I think instead of running her own “tests” that provided no answers as to why my abdomen hurt she should’ve ordered an ultrasound to further investigate what was causing the pain. Fast forward I’m now 6 weeks pregnant and during my first appointment I was told a blockage was found in my left ovary. Dealing with this in early pregnancy I have to worry about the danger my fetus could be in over a problem that should’ve been further investigated.

Wish there was a higher grade than 5 stars. She was my Dr for approx. 8 yrs b4 she moved out of the area.I LOVE her! I met her about a yr after moving to SD...I didn't know anyone in the area & had to find a Dr asap because of a health crisis. Her staff got me in the 1st day, they were kind & understanding. She held my hand while I told her the extremely embarrassing reason I was there (now ex-husband, cheating, blah-blah). She treated me w/dignity & respect..I would & have rec'd her to others.

Dr. Vendiola's cavalier treatment of what should have been a routine UTI resulted in a hospitalization and 15 days of unnecessary pain. Dr. V gave my wife a 30 day supply of a general antibiotic, and an appointment 3 weeks after the first visit. When the medication wasn't effective, no amount of pleading with office staff could get us another appointment. Dr. V failed to follow-up and get cultures. 3 other doctors astonished at the treatment. We are insured too so not a matter of payment
