Hated to move off and leave Dr Smith!
Dr Smith repaired several of my joints… rotator cuff repairs on both shoulders that lasted longer than predicted… carpal tunnel repair… did perfect… repaired left knee… just took good care of me! I have the highest regard for this doctor and his skills!

The worst
I was treated great by the staff before my I’ll fated surgery. Had my Iv in and ready to get this nightmare over and in walks this sorry excuse for a man, much less a dr. Never been so disrespected and degraded in my life. And as if my hand wasn’t in enough pain, this idiot grabs my bad finger and bends it so he can “make sure it’s what it really is before he does the surgery” oh really? What about the 3 different X-rays you have you ?? So yeah he assaulted me and when I yelled out on pain he shhh ed me and told me to be quiet. I hope this guy gets knocked off that high horse one day and has to be at Someone else’s mercy. We didn’t do the surgery and my hand still in pain to this day. Thanks for nothing

Fell on a Wednesday, was able to see PA in Dr. Steven Smith's Office. Dr. Smith called while I was still at the office and offered to do my surgery the following day. The staff was super helpful, the PA was super nice and professional. When Dr. Smith met me at LeConte Medical the next day he went over all my options and the surgical procedure. Could not ask for a better doctor. Thank you.

I just got my second knee replacement. Dr. Smith is very professional and does an excellent job. After having my right knee done I wouldn't have had my left done if Dr. Smith couldn't do it. I certainly recommend him. You can hardly see the scar from the surgery and its only been six weeks. Dr. Smith also did my wife's knee replacement seven years ago.
