Hip replacement
He told me he was going to arrange for another surgeon to do my surgery and that he would assist, so that they could do an anterior approach per my request. I woke up from the surgery and my surgery was done as a posterior surgery . He said my bone was soft and I wasn’t allowed to put weight on it for 3 months, thus there was little PT could do with me and weight bearing strengthens bones. my deca scans later said I don’t have osteoporosis. I developed an infection and he refused to look at my leg saying I wouldn’t be able to stand if I had an infection. I had a high fever and my leg was red. He then tried to release me from needing to see him. I went to my primary who took pictures and told them to see me immediately. They refused and had me wait 3 days. When I was seen he wasn’t in so the photos were sent to another surgeon. I was rushed into emergency surgery and kept in the hospital for a week under the infectious disease team on iv antibiotics because the infection was severe.

He wasn't able to repair my rotator cuff...
Dr. Posnick and his staff are warm, friendly, and compassionate. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to repair my rotator cuff due the amount of atrophy and tendon degeneration, but he was very apologetic about this outcome. He and his PA were very supportive and caring regarding my rehabilitation and eventual return to work, and even referred me to Dr. Biehl for a steroid injection to help speed up my recovery. I would strongly recommend this practice for any orthopedic surgery needs.

Knee Replacement went great!
I had a total knee replacement in early October by Dr. Posnick (I'm 64). The surgery went great. By mid November I was back in the gym 6 days a week. By December I was hitting golf balls with no issues (beyond how badly I hit golf balls). Dr. Posnick is straight forward and honest. I highly recommend him for those that are looking for an experienced surgeon that delivers on what he says. Everything about my surgery has gone exactly as Dr. Posnick had told me. If your looking for touchy feely out of your surgeon I can't speak to that.

Professional and caring
Visit went well. I expect a different diagnosis but he showed me the xray I agreed with his findings. Very well educated. My Primary Doctor Recommended Dr Posnic and I am so glad I went to see him. I highly recommend Dr Posnic. Trust his diagnosis. I know so many people are in pain but you must trust him and give time to see improvements. He is very kind and very professional. He does listen very well. I give him a A+

I wish I could give him zero stars!! He has zero compassion when you tell him how much pain your in! Iv seen him for 10 years he’s performed to scopes on my knee tells me how severe my arthritis is in my knee but in the next breath tells me there is nothing he can do for me because I’m only 45 and doesn’t feel Comfortable doing a knee replacement! Long story short he’s useless and told me to call my primary doctor.

Was told for follow ups only to call when needed. Made me feel he doesn't care to see how his patients are doing after three appointments. Asked for pain medication was told no to keep doing therapy that's my only medication I need and it's been 7 months and I'm still hurting.
