Glad to see he is back to normal!
Dr must of been having a very bad day when I left my last review. Our last appt and procedure went well and he took time with us and answered all our questions. He is caring and thorough.

Very arrogant, argumentative and aggressive. Gave me completely false information as well. He refused to give me his professional opinion on how to proceed and told me I would definitely be on thyroid meds even if I chose to only take half my thyroid out which is completely false. Do not go to this doctor.

Very dismissive and aloof. Started the visit off by stating general facts about my possible condition. Stated my symptoms were not caused by my thyroid nodules. Made no attempt to assist me in finding out what is causing my symptoms.

We had a great experience at Dr. Popat’s office. He was able to thoroughly explain everything to us and it helped to ease our worries. He performed surgery on our 16 year old son and did an excellent job. This was our sons 3rd surgery and 1st with Dr Popat. We are confident that we received the best care possible. His office staff was awesome also. We are forever thankful.

Speaks in a way the everyday person can understand, answers questions, great surgeon, awesome bedside manner; he is a busy guy so it was not so fun to wait 3 months for surgery but I think it was worth the wait

I went to Dr. Popat based on a recommendation from an ENT. I was told that Dr. Popat was the best in the Buffalo area, but his office was not easy to work with. After my original consult I reached-out to Dr. Popat's office three separate times with questions and received no support. I decided to go elsewhere due to Dr. Popat's office lack of patient support - then as proof I made the right decision he banned me from his group's practice. I strongly recommend going elsewhere if you can.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Popat?
On my appt on 10/29 the doctor did little to review my file and said he would copy the treatment plan offered at another hospital. He spent more time going on a mini-rant about how busy he is now that more people have insurance due to Obamacare than actually considering my case. Overall, he appears unconcerned about prospective patients and is dismissive of patient concerns.
