I went to visit her at Rio Grand Family Medicine on Dec 16, 2019. I have been suffering from multiple conditions and have not been able to see a primary because of insurance. I wrote details of my conditions. The place she works at is nice and so is the staff. This Doctor is completely disconnected. She did not review and my the conditions I brought up in the forms. We only discussed one condition but she made me feel like it wasn’t a big deal at all. I take two medications for it, and didn’t even consider the other medication. Basically, if you’re healthy, she’s a good choice! If you have multiple conditions and want someone that listens and cares, please run away. How little can someone feel, excited to finally see a primary for multiple problems only to be seen for 5 minutes with a referral. I’m sure she is very intelligent, but Family Medicine should not be her specialty. She should consider a profession where patients are not involved. Please, there are sick people out here.

Dr Khalsa is incredibly considerate to my needs as her patient and she always takes the time to answer my questions. In today's rushed world, this means a lot. She also continues to go above and beyond when it comes to my overall health care plan, and for this I am truly grateful!

I am a 21 year old pre-med student at UNM and have never written a review of a physician before but I feel compelled to say something. Dr. Khalsa have talent for making one feel indecent and overreactive towards one's own body and health. Also, and arguably worse is the false and inadequate medical advice and care which she has provided on more than one occasions. I have conferred with other physicians and verified that she provided wrongful medical advice and sub-standard care.

Its a shame that she makes Western Medicine have a lot to be desired. She truly doesn't care about her patients and it shows in her demeanor and lack of care. I've gone to her on several occasions and now I'm done with no caring, nor trying to solve my issues. She is not a problem solver and has no follow up. A doctor should care and want to help. She lacks in all those qualities.

Too much in a rush to be involved, felt like an inconvenience of her time. In 2 years she’s never touched me to examine me regarding any concern. Only talks but doesn’t fully listen.
