I left his care as soon as chemo was done. He was not caring, acted like my questions were stupid, and gave me false information. His Nurse was demeaning as well. The worse!

Uncaring, lack of initiative and apathy are the words I would use to describe Dr. Sadeghi. He did not seek consultation or additional treatment options when he had limited knowledge or expertise to treat my sister’s cancers. He did not listen to my sister as the patient, lacked concern for her overall wellbeing, seemed jaded, and lacked in empathy and compassion. He did not engage in best practice on behalf of the patient and was not forthright regarding the patient’s condition and prognosis, particularly to discuss end of life with patient when the treatments were ineffective. Due to his ineffectiveness as my sister’s oncologist, she and our family had to resort to researching additional treatment and other, more qualified professionals for consultation.

I will be filing a complaint regarding Dr. Sadeghi. I was referred to him by another UCLA specialist-part of the diagnostic process for a challenging condition. I saw him 3 times - with him more demeaning as time went on. The 3rd time-when he could not determine the problem-he basically told me that he sees sick patients and that I should stop focusing on my symptoms and that the abnormal blood test results were not really that bad. I have never been treated by a doctor as poorly as he did to me
