First visit, very grateful.
My father recently got diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Up until now he has not had any major illnesses so both him and I are very inexperienced when it comes to the way insurance companies operate. Every experience prior to meeting Dr. Eshaghian and his staff has been frustrating. Sadly it feels like Doctors treat you without empathy and look at their patients with a business mindset opposed to looking at them as the humans that they are. Yesterday was our first visit with Dr. Eshaghian and both my father and I were both happy and grateful for the way we were treated. Thank you Dr. Eshagian for being very thorough with us. They don’t make them like you anymore.

The Next Generation of Doctors
I am so happy to have Dr Eshaghian as my new oncologist. I’m a 5x Hodgkin’s Lymphoma “Thriver”. He knows my incredible past Doctors, Dr Leland Green and Dr Solomon Hamburg from Cedars-Sinai. Dr Eahaghian was well prepared and done his homework about my past. I feel like I’m in really good hands…. And I’m not always that easy to please. Thank you Dr E.

A doctor who doesn’t give up
Over two years ago my dad was diagnosed with not just one cancer but two: brain lymphoma and prostate cancer. He went into the ER as a potential stroke victim but after many tests the ER doctors found hemorrhaging in his brain due to a lesion or mass that was discovered after imaging studies were done. Long story short, Dr. Eshaghian was somehow assigned to my dad’s team of care providers at Cedars and took over as his oncologist. I don’t know how Cedars assigns specialists to a patient but we’re so glad that my dad was and is under Dr. Eshaghian’s care. He’s attentive, supportive, knowledgeable, and most of all he doesn’t give up on his patients. If it was any other doctor, my dad would’ve been recommended for hospice care due to his advanced age and co-morbidities (e.g., heart disease, DM, HTN, etc.) despite being cleared for chemo by a cardiologist. Thank you Dr. Eshaghian! We’re so glad my dad is under your care!

Dr. Eshaghian is literally a lifesaver.
He was my doctor at Cedar's Sinai and his expertise saved me from dialysis by insisting on extra aphaeresis when I was desperate to return home. His extremely professional office care has kept me healthy for the past 19 months. He is always courteous and up to date. A finer physician cannot be found. His office staff is efficient and attentive. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for him and his office.

I see world class doctors. Dr. Eshaghian is my #1.
I go into my 6 month followup appointments thinking I already know everything there is to know about my condition. Every appointment Dr. E explains something new about my condition and how the body works, what to look for, etc. I always walk out understanding more and feeling very encouraged.Dr. E and all staff are all fantastic. They even laugh at my bad jokes.

The best for prostate cancer care
I was referred to Dr E by the best urologist in SoCal. From day one under his care I learned why — Dr E’s knowledge of the disease and the latest treatment options are unsurpassed. He fully explains everything, answers any and all questions, identifies what needs to be done and guides you thru the process. He and his team are compassionate and caring. Dr E is a great doctor and an even better guy. I give him 100 stars. I am a bit biased as when I initially saw him I’d lost 10-15 lbs and was using a walker due to the pain of metastatic disease. He and his team are responsible for restoring my health and life. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Better Off Bleeding Out
Condescending. Unprofessional. Rude first impression. Ran unnecessary and expensive labs that left Pathology at CS confused. If you feel like paying a co-pay, and kissing this guy’s ring just to have him tell you all the things he doesn’t know, go for it. As he does it, he will remind you that you should be thanking him. Ladies, this is the self proclaimed Nice Guy. Graduated to self proclaimed Doctor Nice Guy. I just don’t think my insurance covers doctors’ praise kinks… Alas a frustrating experience for all.

So grateful that my unexpected issue led me to him
Discussed all the pros and cons of meds, was open to discussing options. I would refer him without a n ounce of hesitation. He was very understanding and forthcoming to educate me with regards to my decision for ongoing treatment. I have a great amount of respect for him. Did I wait, a little bit. The best doctors are the ones who may spend a little more time with their patients than most. Especially if it's necessary. Ok by me. Thank You Dr
