David Hoffman is a rock star. He literally saved my life. I am a UCLA nurses and a nonsmoker. Twelve years ago, I was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. UCLA turned me down for treatment or surgery. They told me to get my affairs in order because they predicted I had two months to live. I ran to Cedars. Dr. Hoffman started chemo immediately, and I had a great response. I had surgery then back in chemo. He was with me the entire way providing guidance and support. I'm here today because of his tenacity and intelligence.

Dr Hoffman saw me on time and, although I am certain he has a heavy caseload, he listened to me, spoke with me, looked at my as we spoke, and focused on me and my concerns and physical complaints and questions. He also has a wonderful habit of walking me to the exit door at the end of the appointment - very nice, very caring.

David, is the best! He is the most caring and compassionate man/Dr. You never feel rushed or unimportant while he is with you you have his undivided attention and he makes you feel as if your his only patient, while all of the waiting rooms are full of his patients. He is by far the most wonderful human being.
