The best orthopedic doctor in NY
Dr. Rashid is not simply a skilled surgeon, although she is certainly that. She is also one of those special doctors who truly listens to the patient. She keeps on top of the care the patient receives outside the office, knows if there is blood work being done, any imaging etc and monitors the results. She knows what is happening when other professionals are involved in patient care. She coordinates with other providers like physical therapists and primary care doctors, keeping informed as to any progress or problems or concerns. She is kind and compassionate, and you won't find a doctor on the planet who is as good at stitchery as Dr. Rashid. Nobody leaves a scar as minimal as Dr. Rashid does. With time, you can't even see the ones from the smaller surgeries. In short, be it surgery, pain management, coordination of patient care with other professionals, or general orthopedics, nobody does it better. Dr. Rashid is the total package and without a doubt, she's the very best.

Listened to my concerns, was kind, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Made a decision based on my comments. Felt very comfortable in my first visit with her. My previous wonderful doctor had moved away and she is proving to be a tremendous replacement.

Dr. Rashid performed a total knee replacement on me. I was in so much pain before the surgery. It will be three months tomorrow since my surgery. My new knee is working great! No pain! My incision is so much neater than my many friends who had same surgery from other doctors! I am so glad I found her!
