Dr Rodriguez saved my life by doing emergency colon surgery on a Saturday night a few years ago. He is an excellent physician/surgeon, a compassionate person and an incredible human being. He is on the leading edge of his profession and has allowed me to participate in some new cancer tracking tests. He has always been there when I needed him!

Great Gastroenterologist
Dr. Rodriguez is highly qualified and double-Board Certified. He is also personable, and very informative. My Colonoscopy was performed perfectly, and I was provided with a complete Report including Photos, with full explanation by the Doctor. Office Staff was also very professional and competent, and helpful. What more can I say -- Highly Recommended!

I have recommended Dr. Rodriquez-Ruesqa to my co-worker in need of a specialist here in Dallas. Dr. Rodriquez was an impressive Doctor from the first meeting in the ER, which was a very difficult situation to deal with. I had a long road including surgery and a long recovery from that. Dr. Rodriquez and his staff have been amazing through all of my experience. It is rare to meet a Doctor like Dr. Rodriquez that is truly compassionate, warm and caring, as well as every professional that helped care for me, including the staff in office. More than once I was offered a shoulder to cry on during some difficult moments. I appreciate the warmth and care shown to me. I have had an excellent outcome and am very grateful to Dr. Rodriquez, and he has extended himself to meet with me and review my questions and concerns with patience, understanding, and genuine care and warmth. I am very lucky that it was Dr. Rodriquez who was called for my GI emergency... he was my miracle.

I have been to Dr. Rodriquez at least 3 times and have always been seem prompt (10-15 minutes, which is unheard of today). He is very efficient, personable and empathic in all his dealings. I had surgery with him on October 28, 2019, and have never had such a caring, considerate, empathic doctor in all my life. He is a very skilled and efficient surgeon and also a Humanitarian (in the very true sense). Baylor Hospital needs to nominate him King of Baylor, or, at least Surgeon for the year 2019. When I was in hospital at Baylor- Roberts - on the 15th floor, all the nurses respected him so much and one of them said to me "I want to be just like Dr. Rodriguez". What a tribute to a man of such integrity , compassion and trustworthiness in all he does. He should be rated 5+++++ (As I said, the best of Baylor). In fact, I know of at least 1 other person who had surgery with Dr. Rodriguez and also voted him a 5 star.

Just had my second regular colonoscopy with Dr. Rodriguez. He and his staff were efficient and personable. I have a high degree of confidence in the examination report. I especially appreciated his staff helping me locate a pre-op bowel cleanser that was covered by my medicare drug plan.

Seemed more concerned about getting me in and out. After surgery still aloof and states that symptoms I was having would just take time to heal. Six months later I returned to my general doctor and cancer tumors are still there. Now have a new surgeon and had to have another surgery. Lost a year of my life due to a bad choice in doctor. I would be very cautious. Waiting on pathology to come back now just hoping he did not cost me my life as well.

Very caring. Gave me his coat when room was freezing. Had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes with no explanation until I asked. But he was very decisive and the team worked hard to make surgery happen quickly.

If there were more stars to give, I would give them to Dr. Rodrigues-Ruesga. He is a highly trained, highly intelligent doctor who did his residency at world-famous Mayo Clinic. Before I had colon resection surgery due to diverticulits this fall, I had several important Dallas doctors tell me that he was amazing in the operating room, and that there were few doctors who were in his category. Not only is he a fine surgeon, but he also really cares about his patients - a man of faith and integrity.
