He is simply the best. I have a lot to thank him f
He is so knowledgeable and kind. I had been dealing with my situation for quite a while. He got to the bottom of it and fixed the problem so I could go in and live a good life.

Dr. Hooker's Staff Miscommunication
Just had to cancel my procudre with Dr. Hooker as his staff did not inform me of the proper prep for the procedure. They told me multiple times that I 'should' have received the prep information, but I didn't. They said 'You would have received the information in the office.' but I didn't make the appointment in the office, so that isn't applicable.Upon explaining the situation, the staff said 'Common sense would dictate the appropiate prep.' I am not a medical professional and I was offended to hear something like that. Dr. Hooker is very helpful and a great doctor, but his staff was incredibly rude and lacked any unsterdstanding or responsibility for the situation that has lead to me not being able to get the medical treatment that I need.

Two surgeries and both were amazing.
Two years ago, due to cancer, Dr Hooker did a colon resection and set me up with a colostomy. NO pain after surgery. Went through chemo, and am now cancer-free, and time for the colostomy reversal. Again, NO pain after surgery. Everything went splendidly. Dr. Hooker and his surgery team are the best in the business. He always takes time and answers all questions.

Simply the Best
I highly recommend Dr. Hooker he is professional, knowledgable, and kind. He performed emergency surgery on me. I was terrified but he was so positive and reassuring. Also, he checked on me daily, even through a holiday weekend.

Refused to perform surgery
Dr. Hooker refused to perform surgery on my hemorrhoids although they had been constantly bleeding and very painful for many years. I finally found another surgeon who performed hemorrhoid banding. The visits that I had with Dr. Hooker were a waste of time and money.

This guy is the man to see in the Ft. Worth area if you are needing a colon / rectal specialist. I had two procedures prior with a different who made my problems worse. I was referred to Dr. Hooker who took a different approach and fixed me up. Goodbye Fistulas! Thank you so much Dr. Hooker. Hopefully we won’t have to meet again. I will say that the ladies in the office are pretty disorganized... they scheduled one my follow ups on a day when my doctor wasn’t there.

I selected Dr. Glen Hooker as the surgeon for my colon cancer. I cannot say enough about his knowledge, skills, and bedside manner throughout my ordeal. He is also very timely in his communication. I never waited long to get a return phone call or a call regarding test results. My entire process has been easier because of Dr. Hooker and his staff.

I was able to get in to see Dr. Hooker within an hour after I called his office when they opened and I had surgery that day. I was blessed to have Dr. Hooker and his staff to look after me. Dr. Hooker is a blessing to have in my life when I needed his expertise. He explained everything and took great care of me for the next few weeks. I will use Dr. Hooker for my scheduled examinations and if I should ever need his services again on an emergency basis. I have complete confidence in him.

Dr Hooker is an asset to the medical profession. I found him to be approachable with all questions. Dr Hooker spends the time to put you at ease as he seems to be a calm and considerate person. Most of all, after major surgery I had little pain and as my primary care physician said that speaks volumes for the surgeon!

Dr. Hooker is actually a two time past client. I thought it may be weird at first to have him in this capacity in my life, but the more I got to know him, the more I knew he would be a great doctor. He is calm, kind and very detailed in explaining everything. I happened to have a nurse friend that found out my husband and I were using him and she told me that a large number of nurses go to him because they know the inside scoop and think he is the best! I agree with them.

We found Dr. Hooker to be extremely easy to converse with and very willing to spend time necessary to explain procedures and answer our questions. But more specifically, based on my recovery being much easier than I expected I consider his surgical skills to be exemplary. I highly recommend Dr. Hooker.
