DO NOT go to Dr. Hummer. My grandfather was his patient for several years, yet when he developed symptoms of brain cancer, Dr. Hummer failed to recognize them or order critical tests like a CT scan or MRI. Even after the diagnosis, he never called or checked in on his long-time patient. This lack of diligence and care had serious consequences. If you’re looking for a doctor who thoroughly investigates symptoms and prioritizes patient well-being, I would recommend seeking care elsewhere.

Wonderful dr. and staff
Excellent, he's the only doctor who ever gave me a carotid exam and found it's 85% blocked. Potential stroke victim. He also detected neurological problems. I'm now seeing a specialist and scheduled to undergo surgery. I can't be more appreciative for him or his staff.

I had a cough for the past 8 months. The Dr. I had been seeing told me the cough was caused by the type of blood pressure medication I was on. My insurance dropped that Dr. and suggested Dr Hummer. On my first visit he noticed my cough and I told him it was BP meds. He responded by saying the type of Bp meds I was taking does not cause coughing. He ordered a low dose ct scan which found a small tumor in my lung . He ordered a Pet Scan immediately. To shorten this, today is week after surgery I’m doing well . If it were not for Dr. Hummer I would have continued to believe coughing was do to BP meds and this would have been diagnosed down the road as a later stage cancer. The difference between a graduate with an Md piece of paper and a real Doctor. Also he has a wonderful staff I found all to be friendly, and efficient. Thank you Doctor Hummer.

Met the doc, nice guy. However, he does not Chart at visits (mandatory) he does not followup (because he does not Chart) and forgets once he walks out of the exam room. EH was ER Med trained and this is NOT Primary Care, Family Care relevant. He is a MASH doc, knowledge of how to keep you from eminent death. This leads him to be Trigger Happy as a script writer, and NOT relevant to Managed Care. Find yourself a real DO, or MD that is TRAINED in managing care, not Hyper Max Med centric.
