Dr. Antoine Dakouny, MD

I was not satisfied with the primary physician I found when I moved here 7 years ago and began an intensive search for a new one that I felt would best meet our needs. I am a longtime nurse and know what it takes to be a great practitioner. My husband and I were both very healthy so I took time with the search. So glad I did because we both could not be happier to have him as our physician. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Guillain Barre Syndrome but am on the road to hopefully a full recovery. My husband and I know he will be there as we traverse the scariest thing we have faced during our 35 year marriage. He is incredibly competent and caring. The office staff are superior and responsive. They work as a team and you feel it on every visit. I have seen healthcare change drastically over my career and am glad to see the standards in this office remain the best!

Dr. Dakouny gives his patients his full attention and all the time that the patient needs at each visit. He is kind, caring and through in his evaluations. Dr. Dakouny will refer his patients to other specialists if need be. He is the best doctor that I have ever had.

After moving to FL from MA I began the search to find a PCP that would be as caring and competent as my PCP back home. Big shoes to fill. I am so happy to say the search is over! From my very first visit Dr Dakouny talked about the culture he has established for his practice. He spoke of genuinely caring about every patient, taking pride in being accessible when patients need him, his promise to respond to email within 24 hours and his approach of treating the whole patient. I felt he was sincere and left that visit feeling hopeful. I have since had many visits with him and find at every encounter his actions support his words. Dr Dakouny truly loves his patients, listens to you and develops appropriate plans and interventions. He has also focused on preventative measures to educate me on controlling my specific risk factors. He has more than earned my deep respect and total confidence in him. I feel better than I have in years because of his vast knowledge, skill and excellent care.

What a genuine physician ! I am a new patient of DR.DAKOUNY and moved recently from Miane to Florida. My neughbors gave me his contact information and i established with him. He is caring compassionate and listened to all my concerns and addressed them. I am so happy that i found him.

Dr. Dakouny is a wonderful internal medicine doctor. He always respond to phone calls or messages sent through health chart in a timely manner. He is compassionate, caring and listens. I moved to port Charlotte in 2014 and was looking for a new family doctor. after doing some research, I found dr dakouny and what an astounding dr he is. he is compassionate, but speaks the truth. anyone fortunate enough to be his patient will find themselves in no better hands anywhere.

I visited Dr. Dakouny after an accident. He did not discuss any of my concerns; rather gave me scripts for routine tests etc. and set a return visit for more than a month out. I've heard he is a good doctor, but I didn't benefit from my first visit and felt uncomfortable with the office procedures, so didn't go back. He was too willing to overlook my concerns, even in the absence of my medical records from the ER, for my liking.

I have been a patient since 2006 or so and I could not be more pleased with Dr. Dakouny’s professionalism and personal attention to detail. He truly listens to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Dakouny to both male or female friends. He is a one-doc shop and sees each patient personally. He also has tremendous bedside manner.

DR.Dakouny has been my doctor for 7 years, he is caring, a good listener, addresses my concerns. These days it is super rare to find quality physicians. He is an excellent doctor. I am also super happy since his new front desk staff seems to be courteous and professional, I would say was a good chance. I enjoy visiting him and I trust him fully with his medical judgment.

Dr. Dakouny is wonderful. He is extremely nice and more than willing to listen to me. The only thing I do not like is that the front desk receptionist is very rude. She will be rude to a patient on the phone in front of you or will talk about other patients in front of you to another nurse. I have seen her argue with another nurse and with a patient. She is very unpleasant.
