I felt like he couldn't get out of the room fast enough. Barely answered questions. Would not discuss laparoscopy as an alternative to open surgery. Four weeks post-op and site is still extremely sore, swollen and numb. I should have gotten a second opinion.

I had laproscopic inguinal hernia surgery. It went very well. I would highly recommend Dr. Bloomberg.

Dr. Bloomberg performed a robotic laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery on me. From start to finish I had a good feeling about this doctor. He used state-of-the-art technology and has a world class education. The results have been fantastic and the incision sites are tiny and neat. Thank you so much, Doctor. I will definitely put my confidence in him again if I'm needing to and will recc to family/friends.

I have had surgery twice performed by Dr. Bloomberg, with excellent results. He explained all my options was easy to talk with, and cares about all his patients. His rating is 5 stars. If you need surgery he is the Dr, i would choose.

Terrible having my surgery redone. Check your surgical notes he does not put in complications that happened. Horrible follow up, stay away.

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Bloomberg on three different visits all within six weeks. I had a pilonidal cyst lanced at the hospital, and he was recommended for the post-visit surgery. He said he didn’t want to perform surgery since it didn’t seem an issue. Great! Then the pain came back, so I returned. He again said he didn’t see anything and didn’t have any reason for surgery. Then four days ago, I went back to his office in noticeable pain, and he still didn’t intervene. He gave me amoxicillin, no pain killers. I had to call on the on-call doctor to get medicine. I was so swollen and in such pain, I couldn’t physically urinate. I went to another colorectal surgeon today who immediately lanced the cyst, and said it was “pretty bad” and scheduled my surgery to remove the cyst. I don’t know how or why Dr. Bloomberg dismissed my concerns. I spent a weekend in absolute agony waiting to see another doctor to treat a problem he should have fixed the first time.

Needing surgery to correct my hernia, I was highly encouraged to obtain the services of Dr. Richard Bloomberg by my Family Doctor and another surgeon. I had a very positive experience from the first visit to the post office visit after a successful surgery was done by Dr. Bloomberg. I would highly recommend Dr. Bloomberg as he's highly qualified, experienced, skilled and professional. Dr. Bloomberg has excellent bed side manners and he will make you comfortable and confident with your decision to choose him to address and correct your surgical needs. Great choice!

I am so grateful to Dr.Bloomberg got to be my surgeon . After all misfortunes with my health and my doctor choices frustrated me he came to my life as a light ! I could say he is the best at what he does as you read his bio and talk to people who knows him but I have much more to say about his good heart , humanity.. I went for one surgery I ended up having two The second one he noticed at the time of surgery my umbilical hernia , and fixed it as well as my gallbladder removal . thank you !??

My experience with Dr. Bloomberg was a very good one. I needed to have my gallbladder taken out. My doctor asked him at 7:30 am if he could see me and my appointment was at 10:30 am that same day. His wait-time for my surgery was 2 weeks, more than reasonable. (I did not have an attack that was an emergency.) I found Dr. Bloomberg to be a very competent surgeon, and was very happy with my surgery and the recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Bloomberg.
