No regard for patient's time
I had a 1:30 appointment. I was booked promptly, and the staff was very courteous. I was told to take my clothes off and he'd be in within a few minutes. I waited 40 minutes with no updates and never heard the doctor’s voice outside visiting other patients, so finally stuck my head out the door and asked for a nurse to see what was going on. They apologized but said he had been in his office with the door shut on a phone call and wouldn't answer their texts, and they weren’t sure when he would be out. Well, I’m in the middle of my workday too and couldn’t gamble on him deciding when to honor his patient’s time, so I just asked for them to refund my money. Keep in mind, they charge you in advance for your appointment when you walk in the door and have a no-show cancellation fee within 24 hours, but then he apparently doesn't mind no-showing on his own patients that have already arrived…frustrating. They did, however, refund my money.

Experience and education doesn't make you human!
During our visit, Dr. Malouf stated he couldn't do anything for brown skin, which was dismissive and unprofessional. He stated all other practices are putting out wrong information to sell their practices. I cannot recommend his services for patients seeking inclusive and compassionate care. Education and experience cannot teach you empathy nor can make you human. He is a perfect example of that.

Just got out of my appointment with Dr. Malouf, terrible experience. He was dismissive about a couple chronic issues I deal with regularly, was not clear about how often I should apply medications and didn't acted like I was an inconvenience as he rushed out of the room. This resulted in me trying to get clarification from his assistant who is not a dr. So frustrating, typical Dr that's rushing through patients. When I called the office to cancel my follow up appointment, the staff didn't care that I was canceling and didn't care that I had a bad experience

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Maloufs cleburne office, they didn’t tell me it would be with his PA Hailey. As a new patient visit I was very disappointed not only in her but her telling me that the Dr doesn’t do cyst removal type of things and mostly only sees mohs procedures now. This is not what the website shows or my insurance app. She told me to book with a general surgeon for basic cyst removal. I won’t be going back.

Seek another physician for a chin lift
The life style lift which is a chin lift is not his expertise. I had the surgery. 1 side looks great. The other looks like he didn’t do anything. He did a revision, charged me $500, he still cut corners. 1 side is great the other is now sagging. There are 2 other great dermotologist in Dallas that do excellent work for no anesthesia lift style lifts

I missed the first call of my results, but I called back as soon as I woke up and they told me a nurse would call me back, they never did. It has been over 2 days and all I have been told is that a nurse has to call me. I have called repeatedly and do not have my results. It's a quick and simple phone call, take 5 minutes out of your day and give me the results of the test I paid for. Also when I went for my appointment I waited over an hour passed my scheduled appointment time until I got called back, obviously time management is not a skill they value.

I know Dr Malouf for 15 years and he is an excellent dermatologist. However, recently, he has turned into an “independent pay” doctor, which means he does not work with health insurances, and his staff do NOT inform you. On Oct. 5, I saw him for a rash on my leg, and he decided to check my back. Nurse took samples of two moles. I paid $250 for the samples and visit, that is when I was informed about his independence. Today, Oct. 31, I received a lab invoice for $500 and I have no results yet!

This doctor is great! He is very gentle and has always done a fabulous job for me. The results are very natural with minimal bruising. I trust his judgement. Some of the front office staff is another story. I have dealt with several of them that were downright horrible! Please do not judge this doctor by some of this staff members. He is really exceptional!
