Dr. Orren Perlman, MD

I saw Dr. Perlman years ago for therapy when I was a difficult patient. Two years ago I asked him about medication management. He declined and I couldn't blame him.Later, I spoke with him and assured him I was not the same as before. He decided to take a chance on me and do my medication management.Dr. Perlman was and is a premier psychiatrist, kind, patient and caring. I've learned a great deal from him and I cannot recommend him highly enough.I am and will always be grateful for Dr. Perlman's help.

I have been working with Dr. Perlman for several years now. He is a genuine & caring professional who has helped me immensely through my mental health journey. I appreciate his flexibility, due diligence, resourcefulness and knowledge on what to prescribe. I have a hard time trusting people, however, Dr. Perlman has my trust.

Dr. Perlman is one of the kindest, thorough, and humane individuals I have come across. I am so happy our paths have crossed. I see him as part of my family, one who constantly cares for my well-being while at the same time making sure that my children and family are healthy and well. ou will never find a better specialist in this practice area.

Dr Perlman is a kind and patient physician. I find his psychiatric pharmacology expertise to be excellent. I trust him. Appointments are short and very expensive since I am an out of pocket payer but he treats me very well. I can email him with questions and issues and he always gets back to me quickly. My psychologist with whom I do psychotherapy referred me to Dr Perlman for medication therapy.

did not seem interested in my progress. Had difficulty in connecting with him via telephone. Seemed more interested in the money.

VERY rude. Had no time for listening to me, only wanted to schedule appointments to make money off of me. Very condescending- told me I was "just adjusting to a new environment" even though I was suicidal. Also, very disorganized. Forgot we had an appointment and then pulled out the wrong file, thinking I was another patient.

He was caring, considerate and took his time with me. He does not have any office staff, you schedule directly with him.

I have a very hard time tolerating most pharmaceuticals. Dr Perlman was patient and thoughtful in prescribing for me. He has also been very accessible by phone and email fielding my questions and concerns. Much appreciated.

Can I leave a zero star review. Untrustworthy and only wants to prescribe drugs. Looking to just take your money and kick you out the front door. One hour appointments lasting no longer than 15 min. Snake oil Doctor!
