I wanted to express my gratitude for the thorough explanation and excellent care Dr. Lee provided during my recent appointment. Her detailed plan for my future treatment has given me great confidence, and I appreciate her attentive support.

Of all the people I came in contact with Hospital [staff name removed] was the best listener and the most courteous and helpful. She explained everything in great detail and when she was doing my Test. At my request she repeated a few test where I thought I could do better. When she took me to a room that had Bottled Water which was EMPTY, she left the room for a few minutes and came back with a person who put the Large Water Bottle in the Water Dispenser. 1. I liked the Easy Parking and the Parking Attendants. They were ALL very helpfull and courteous. 2. The Cell Phone Service was awful. Even with the UCI Guest Services I could not connect, send emails or text messages. I own a business that needs my attention and in my waiting time I tried without success to use my phone. 3. I liked the Little Cafe as I had not had any breakfast and was Thankful for the Cafe being right right there next to Ophthalmology. 4. The Front Lobby Bathroom was not Clean and had a Bad Smell so I found a different Bathroom to use.

Dr.Lee is very professional and caring.

I don't understand.

Everyone was great and Dr. Lee was extremely helpful in giving me alternatives to figuring out what type of vision correction I might want when I have cataract surgery. All in all, she went above and beyond.

Too long waiting

I would like a print out of the diagnosis. I thought I would remember what the doctor said but forgot some of it as soon as I got out. It was a two hour appointment and that is why I did not bring anyone with me. But I definitely will if I ever have to do that again. As I can't really explain the diagnosis to anyone. Also, I did not ask if I have what she thinks I have what will happen after that.

I feel that my care at UCI Ophthalmology is exceptional. But I waited for almost three hours before I saw Dr. Lee. Two hours is the norm, which is truly unpleasant.

Thank you for having very courteous people at the front desk and in the back, and the service was excellent. Thank you very much, and I hope it continues.

I had a 2 pm appointment.... I left the doctor's office at 5 pm. It seems they were extremely overbooked!

Everyone involved with this appointment gave me the confidence that I had chosen the right MD and his staff.

Dr. Olivia Lee & staff were engaged & understanding. I have Long Covid and am seeking treatment. I've been disappointed with some doctors who are dismissive of the condition & reluctant to offer referral assistance to doctors who may be able to help me with this emerging science. I'm unable to access the few opportunities I've found due to my insurance status as HMO, but Dr. Lee searched for me & offered understanding & hope. Please pass this message on to other doctors within the UCI Health system & ask them to contact me when they have a Long Covid recovery program I'm eligible for. Thank you.

Dr. Lee and Dr. Karslioglu were thorough and very helpful. I have been having issues with constant eye dryness, which is impacting my vision and quality of life. I went to two other ophthalmologists for glaucoma and cataract referrals. When I mentioned the eye dryness, my vision being blurred, and feeling tired due to it, they both relayed that it is part of aging, so I pretty much "need to deal with it". No recommendations of treatments. My UCI dermatologist referred me back to an ocular specialist - Dr Lee, and it was the best action. They did tests and diagnosed me with evaporative dry eye syndrome, MGD. Finally, I had an answer, and the eye drops, running a humidifier, and compresses have all helped me improve. I am so appreciative that you have doctors who care, are detailed, and are responsive. I had a wonderful experience. Thank you Dr. Lee and Dr. Karslioglur for your medical care!! Excellence. Also, maybe speak to the other two doctors in that department who weren't so thorough. As I was going to go outside the UCI health plan because of my previous poor experience.

In my experience, Dr. Lee is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have met at UCI. Thank you, professional staff, for hiring amazing and progressive doctors.
