Dr. Mounzer Al Samman, MD

I just had my procedure on February of 2024 and it was very professional. I was given the copy of all the materials I needed to be well informed before and after the procedure. Follow ups with the patient is something I never had a problem with Dr. Al Samman. Extremely grateful of the experience and looking forward to be having that procedure sometime in the future.

Dr. Al Samman performed my colonoscopy and endoscopy on the same day. He is exactly the kind of knowledgeable and kind doctor one would want when undergoing such delicate procedures. From initial consultation to the day of the procedures to the follow up, I am very glad that I had Dr. Al Samman and the caring staff at North Bay Surgical Center to guide me through it. My first consultation with the doctor was a Telehealth appointment which was highly convenient.

Dr. Alsaman is a truly wonderful doctor! He honestly cares about his patients. He gives eye contact, listens to your concerns, and explains information in a way that is easy to understand. I have total confidence in him and would refer him to everyone needing his expertise.

Very efficient staff and procedure flow. All the parties that helped me were very courteous. Sarah, RN took the time to answer my questions. I was sedated very well. Next time I woke up was in recovery. Easy!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Dr. Samman. He is above & beyond a great doctor & kind man. He was the first person to diagnose me with a rare illness (1.6 cases per 100,000) that no other doctors I visited could find. Basically, my esophagus closed shut on me. I couldn't swallow food or water without it coming right back up. Hunger I could handle but to be thirsty, dehydrated & not be able to quench your thirst is horrible. When you are diagnosed with cancer or diabetes you can find a lot people you can talk to. But, when you have Achalasia even the nurses don't know what it is. I was scared. With permission, Dr. Samman arranged for me to talk to another person who had it & the surgery. This was a huge help during my recovery. I am now able to eat and drink. Not only is he an excellent doctor but he is always kind & even has a sense of humor. There is a reason people go to him. It's because he is excellent at what he does. Don't you think you deserve the best as well?

I am very impressed with Dr. Samman. The first time we met, I took an instant liking to him. He communicates very well and explains things so you understand exactly what he is conveying. I knew exactly what to expect from my colonoscopy, even though this was my sixth one. His before the procedure contacts and his follow-up is amazing. His office staff is the best. Stacy was quick to respond to my questions by email and phone. I will have him do my procedure again in 3 years.

The prep and procedure was explained well and step by step instructions provided leaving little to no room for an error. Seems a genuine concern about patient care and getting to the cause. Professional but yet friendly and down to earth. Even a sense of humor! Hopefully this will help get answers and solutions, not just managing symptoms. It's clear he has found his calling.

It was Friday night, and I was faced with a weekend in the hospital but Dr. Al Samman called together a team and my procedure was completed successfully. His expertise and willingness to meet my needs were very much appreciated.
