Every aspect of my procedure was excellent, from the pre-procedure instructions, to the procedure itself, to the post-procedure follow-up. The nursing staff were very caring and Dr. Hogan was extremely thorough and had a good bedside manner.

Dr. Hogan was organized and knew my history prior to my colonoscopy and endoscopy. He took the proper biopsies to confirm previously diagnosed conditions and was able to confirm a false positive which was a great outcome. His reports were timely and complete giving me a full picture of my condition and next steps.

Dr. Hogan and his team were excellent. From the time I entered the office to leaving, everyone was kind and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Hogan.

I have always gone to Dr Hogan for colonoscopy procedures, and I've had several. He's thorough, skilled, and takes the time to explain things well. And what's also important for a doc...he's a nice guy.

Third procedure; all have gone well. My only criticism; communication difficulties with his office. They return Calls but impossible to get a live human on the phone when necessary. There was also a switch up regarding hospitals. I went to one hospital last procedure. This procedure was done at a different hospital and I was not adequately informed of the change by staff resulting in me showing up at the wrong hospital and having to make a mad dash for the right one.

Dr Hogan is polite, professional, thorough, curious, and informative about my care. He is quite responsive when I have sent inquiries about my health and is proactive in evaluating my D&T and recommending care options.

Dr. Hogan is kind and compassionate. Very skilled with making procedures quick and painless. The team that supports him is the same.

Dr Hogan visited me before my procedure, explained what would happen, and explained the risks. I was totally comfortable going in.

My husband and I both had a colonoscopy at this office by Dr. Hogan. Having had several in the past this was by far my best experience. The office staff was very informative, professional, and kind. The procedure was quick and I woke up feeling great. The anesthesiologist explained the medications he was using and how it worked for the procedure. Although I cant say I look forward to future colonoscopy's, we will no longer dread it. We both will continue to use Dr. Hogan's office in the future.

No one loves a colonoscopy, but Dr. Hogan made my procedure as good as one can be. He was very informative, answered my questions and his report after was complete. As a former colon cancer patient (15 years ago, when I lived elsewhere), I can say the post-test info I received was significantly better with Dr. Hogan. My only issue was that the anesthesia nurse was a bit rough, and I couldn't move my wrist after for two days. That said (general PSA) get your colonoscopies, friends. I was initially diagnosed at 42. No symptoms, competitive athlete, slightly underweight, never smoker, vegetarian. I was told to be tested this early because of family history. My insurance fought coverage, because I was 'a woman, and too healthy.' Thankfully, my doctor went up against this until they gave in. I got off relatively easy, just a resection, because it was caught early. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten one until I was 50, which would have yielded a very different outcome.

Dr. Hogan performed my colonoscopy as my previous physician has retired. I was a little nervous but need not have been. Dr. Hogan has superior knowledge and skill, is rigorously thorough and is also kind and personable. He discovered and removed a polyp during my exam that I read about later as easily missed by physicians because of its location and shape, blending into the colon wall. But not by Dr. Hogan! You can have full confidence in Dr. Hogan and his very caring and thorough team. I felt well-cared for before the exam in terms of preparation, as well as during and after.

Dr. Hogan performed a long-overdue colonoscopy on me in September 2024. I was a bit anxious at first, but I have to honestly say it was an awesome experience! Years ago Dr. Hogan had performed a colonoscopy on my husband, and he actually remembered me from that experience. He greeted me warmly and was so kind, professional and engaging that I felt myself starting to relax. I knew I was in excellent hands.The staff was exceptional -- they were welcoming and friendly, put me at ease immediately, and were happy to answer my questions. The anesthesiologist even allowed me to wear my Halloween spider hat into surgery! Totally accommodating! The procedure went quite well and I was able to resume my daily life within a couple days.Thank you, Endoscopy Center of Marin!
